Xue Mei
Xue Mei's two poems are a set of seven-character quatrains written by Lu Meipo, a controversial poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. These two poems illustrate the relationship between plum, snow and poetry, and they are indispensable. Only when they are combined can they form beautiful spring scenery. The first two sentences of the first poem are about Xue Mei's striving for spring, which is up to the poet to judge. The last two sentences are the poet's comments on Mei and Xue.
The first sentence of the second poem is about the relationship between plum and snow, and the second sentence is about the relationship between snow and poetry. The last two sentences describe the relationship between plum blossom, snow and poetry. Plum blossoms are in bloom but it hasn't snowed yet, so it still lacks poetry. These two poems are full of interest. The specific creation dates of these two poems can no longer be verified, and they are considered to be an early spring day at the end of the Song Dynasty, when plum blossoms were in full bloom and the authors enjoyed themselves.

The first two sentences of the first poem are about Xue Mei's striving for spring, which should be judged by the poet. The first sentence uses anthropomorphic methods to write that plum blossom and snowflake compete with each other, and they all think that they are the characteristics of the earliest spring, and they do not admit defeat, creatively and vividly showing the beauty of plum blossom and snowflake in early spring. It is difficult for poets to judge between the two.
The poet thought it was a stroke of a pen, but because it was difficult to judge, he had to stop writing and think. "Comment on chapter" means evaluation. I thought it was a stroke of a pen, but because it was difficult to judge, I had to stop writing and think.
The last two sentences are the poet's comments on Mei and Xue. As far as whiteness is concerned, plum is worse than snow, but snow has no taste of plum blossoms. "Three points" is not much different. "One paragraph" materializes the aroma, which makes people feel that the aroma can be measured. Predecessors have noticed these characteristics of Mei and Xue, such as "Song of Snow White Farewell to Mr. Wu's Hometown": "Like a spring breeze, ten thousand pears have blown away overnight."
Wang Anshi's poem "Plum Blossoms": "There are a few plums in the corner, and hanling blooms alone. I know from a distance that it is not snow, because it has a faint fragrance. " But this poem summarizes the different characteristics of Mei and Xue in the two poems, which is very interesting and has certain influence.
