Brief introduction of hongyan town

Hongyan town is located in the north of Midu County. Area 127 km2, population 50,000 (2006). Jurisdiction over Hongyan, Jixiang, Zhuyuan, Banju, Daying, Liwei, Luo Ying, Chishui, Jin Shi, Donghai, Zhanggang and Qingshuigou 12 administrative villages. The town government is located in Hongyan Street, with a distance of 1 1.4km from the county seat. Kunwan highway transits the border. Attractions include the Temple of the Goddess and Dongshan Forest Park.
