Wang Wan was born in Luoyang, a city with profound cultural heritage. He is eight years older than Li Bai. There are few records about him in the history books, even the font size is unknown, and it is not clear whether he has any brothers or sisters. In 7 12 AD, in the first year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, Li Longji proclaimed himself emperor. Nineteen-year-old Wang Wan went to Beijing to take the exam. After the exam results came out, he was admitted to the scholar with excellent results, which can be described as a teenager's success.
As we all know, ancient scholars were selected by the imperial courts at all levels and were fully qualified to be officials. After becoming famous, Wang Wan soon received a power of attorney and was sent to Xingyang County as the principal book to assist in the clerical work. Throughout Wang Wan's life, his achievements in official career are not too high. At the most glorious time, he was a policeman in Luoyang (equivalent to the police chief), and his literary achievements were not bad, especially "The Next Stop on the North Fort Mountain", which had a high position in the poetry circle of the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
A berth at the foot of Beibao Mountain-Wang Wan
Under the blue mountain, my boat and I meandered along the green water.
Until the river bank widens at low tide, and no wind blows my lonely sail.
... night gives way to the ocean of the sun, and the old year melts in freshness.
Finally, I can send my messenger, Wild Goose, back to Luoyang.
The main idea of this poem is: As a guest from other places, I passed by Gu Bei and floated on the green lake in a boat. Recently, with the increase of rainfall, the lake suddenly rises, and the horizons on both sides of the river are wider, with an endless feeling, and the sails are hung vertically under the action of strong winds. The night is about to pass, the sun is about to rise, and Jiangnan has begun to exude the breath of spring. As a wanderer, how to deliver letters to my hometown? Let Goose help me bring my thoughts to my relatives in Luoyang.
The writing time of this poem is unknown. It is not difficult to see from the title and content that Wang Wan was playing in Jiangnan at that time, and was fascinated by the scenery here in an instant, unable to restrain his inner excitement. The poet Du Fu once wrote "The stars fall from the clearing", which was later than Wang Wan's "Until the bank at low tide widens". Perhaps this poem of Du Fu borrowed from Wang Wan's brushwork, and the artistic conception of the two poems is similar.
Every poem has a finishing touch. "..." Night now gives way to the ocean of the sun, and the old year melts in the clear spring "is the most famous sentence in the next berth of Beibao Mountain, which has been praised by the world for thousands of years. It is said that Zhang, the prime minister of the Tang Dynasty at that time, read After Saying ... Night now gives way to the ocean of the sun, and the old year melts in freshness. "He applauded in surprise. Everyone praised Wang Wan's talent, and all talented people in the world rushed to learn. Wang Wan is a neglected poet, but no one can ignore his talent. The poem "The next berth on the North Fort Mountain" alone is enough to stand out from the crowd, and it has also been selected as a junior high school textbook.
