Many people may think of Li Bai, because a lot of his poems were included in Chinese textbooks from middle school to college, and he was also called a poet. Actually, this is an illusion. Bai Juyi is the poet who collected the most poems in The Whole Tang Poetry, followed by Du Fu and Li Bai. If we continue to count down, the fourth is Yuan Zhen, and the fifth is Miracle.
Yuan Zhen is Bai Juyi's good friend, the one who wrote that "once the sea was difficult for water, except Wushan, it was not a cloud".
The fifth Miracle is a stranger, and few people know him. His poems are not included in the popular reading of Tang poetry, 300 Poems of Tang Poetry.
Miracle was a famous poet in the late Tang Dynasty. The Complete Poems of Tang Dynasty included more than 800 poems. Miracle was originally a monk, and his deeds were recorded in Biography of Song Monks, and he was called "Yiyang Man".
