The electrification reconstruction project of Jiela section of Qinghai-Tibet Railway is a key project in the strategic planning of southwest China. At present, one of the sub-projects of this project-the switch replacement and signal system transformation project of Jiela section of Qinghai-Tibet Railway is under construction and supervision bidding work. After the completion of all projects, the transportation capacity and service quality of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway will be improved, the electrification of the regional road network will be promoted, the transportation cost will be reduced, and the operational safety, reliability and risk resistance of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway will be further improved. It is of great and far-reaching practical significance to promote the development of clean energy, protect the ecological environment of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and help achieve the goal of "double carbon".
