Tracing back to the source of "adding fragrance to tea with reading" (part two)

"Reading at night with tea" is well known to the world because of the influence of Lu Xun's Remembering Liu Bannong Jun (published in the 3rd issue of Shanghai Youth Magazine, Volume 6, in October 1934, and later included in Qijieting Essays). "Remembering Liu Bannong Jun" said: "For almost a year, he didn't get rid of the idea that the talented people brought from Shanghai must have the happiness of' reading at night with red tea', and he was finally scolded by us." (The Complete Works of Lu Xun, Volume VI, People's Literature Publishing House, 1981) Liu Bannong (1891-1934), formerly known as Shou Peng, later renamed Fu, and then changed to semi-Nong and semi-Nong, was born in Jiangyin, Jiangsu. When I was a child, I studied in a private school in my hometown. After graduating from high school, I went to Shanghai to "sell articles for a living" and wrote articles for newspapers hosted by Yuanyang Butterfly School. The Complete Works of Lu Xun, published by People's Literature Publishing House in 1981 and from 1998 to 25, did not note the origin of "reading at night with tea". Liu Yanwen's The Origin of Famous Sentences: Tea with Red Teas for Reading (included in his essays sent to Lu, Shanghai Bookstore Press, 2 edition), Li Shibiao's The Origin of Tea with Red Teas for Reading at Night (included in Du Zexun's Chinese Studies Teahouse, No.1, Shandong People's Publishing House, 213 edition), and Guo Changhai's Tracking Tea with Red Teas for Reading at Night. According to Liu Wen's textual research, this sentence comes from Mr. Shou Jianzhai written by Xi Peilan, a poetess in the Qing Dynasty. He thinks that "Mr. Lu Xun misremembered a word: the word' night' should be regarded as the word' companion'". Li Wenze believes that during the reign of Daoguang, Xianfeng and Tongzhi, Jin Lanzhen had "Reading at Night with Sweet Red Teas for Yin Maocai's Pleasure", which was included in "Embroidering Buddhist Poems", with the preface of Ma Chengzhao, written in "Autumn and September in the 12th year of Tongzhi" and written before Xi Peilan. Guo Wen's materials are the most abundant, but he didn't mention the above two articles (perhaps without a purpose). He claimed to have paid attention to this allusion in 1978, and he searched for the answer in modern literary historical materials three times, from Liang Qichao and Yao Shizi to Sun Ciqing and Guan Sijun, until the Jiangnan celebrities Guo Biaojia, Zou Tao and Zhao Huaiyu between Daoxian and Xianxian.

However, according to the author's investigation, from the time point of view, the source of "reading at night with red tea" is earlier than the above schools, and it is Hu Jitang's (1729-18) "Reading Picture of Fang Bomei's House", the fifth of the eight poems:

Who lives in a group of flowers with smiles and elegance? Yun Chuang wins the red cloud companion, which can win the fragrance of several Nong

The author notes from the cloud: "There are many Wu people in the public servant Ji, and there is a small seal, engraved with the sentence" Red tea adds fragrance to reading at night "." Hu Jitang, whose name is Shengfu, was born in Guangshan (now Henan). Father Xu, official to assistant minister. At the age of 7, Shi Jitang was sentenced by Yin Sheng to Shuntian Tianfu, transferred to the Ministry of Punishment, and moved to Langzhong. Thirty-one years out of Qingyang Prefecture magistrate, forty-four years Zhuo punishments ministers. In fifty-five years, he temporarily served as the governor of Shandong, and added the prince to protect him less. He has been sent to Beijing for many times, and he has accumulated outstanding cases, so he should set his hand on it. For sixty years, he has been in charge of the Ministry of War and the Ministry of Finance. In the third year of Jiaqing (1798), he was awarded the governor of Zhili, and he was rewarded with Hua Ling. In the first month of four years, He Shen was dismissed for questioning, and Jitang was instructed to repeat 2 major crimes, which caused a great shock. Jiaqing gave He Shen hanged himself and Jitang Jin Taizi Taibao. Soon after, due to the theft of Changxindian, he was dismissed and stayed in office for failing to observe the fault of guerrilla Fan. For five years, he played Chen Chuanchu's military affairs, urged the Bailian Sect to adopt the policy of both suppression and assistance, and asked him to send troops to Henan to prevent blockages, and he was reinstated to his original post. He died in the same year. Jin named Prince Taifu and Shi Zhuang Min. Wang Fangbo, as mentioned in the poem, is the envoy of the Qing Dynasty.

Later, Zhao Huaiyu (1747-1823), a native of Wujin, Jiangsu Province, wrote in The Picture of bandu with Double Curses: "Can you read all you can?" More red sleeves add fragrance and sell forever. " Reading thousands of books and adding fragrance to tea and selling forever are divided into two sentences. Zou Mi (185? -1931) "titled Xiaoxiang Shilan Tu" is also true of "Tea adds fragrance to my disdain, and bandu in the makeup building is also romantic". Zou Tao, with the word Han Fei and the word thin crane, was named the old captain of Sixiang and the waiter of Xiaoxiang Pavilion. People from Wuxi, Jiangsu. There was a poem name at an early age, especially "Huanghua Poetry", which was known as "Zou Huanghua" for a while. He is also good at long and short sentences, parallel prose, prose and novels, and his name is quite famous. When I was in Shanghai, I had an affair with * * * Wang Yigen. Later, Wang married Wan's surname, and Zou Tao was disconsolate. He wrote the novel heartbroken tablet (also known as the shadow of the sky on the sea) for sixty times, which was recognized as one of the representative novels of narrow evil in the late Qing Dynasty.

A similar description is Qing Lan, the son of Yin Jishan, a university student, who wrote "Butterfly Loves Flowers for the Son of Zhuyan with a Picture of bandu (the scenery is also in the picture of a green bamboo tree)": "There are twelve flowers and shadows around, revealing the banana heart, and the moonlight shines on the phoenix tree silently. It's better to listen to strange books, but a pair of clouds are small. Fragrant seal frequently bothers Tim Rui-nao, trying to count lotus seeds, which is nearly three nights. Don't cut the poem again and start writing again. You should feel sorry for the new cold sleeves. " (Qing Ding Shaoyi's "Comprehensive Supplement to the Words of the State Dynasty" Volume 13, fifty-eight volumes before the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty; Li Haotian, editor-in-chief of the Institute of Ancient Books of Jilin Normal University, introduced Baishan Ci (Jilin Literature and History Publishing House, 1991 edition) and Zheng Zongyi's same-titled Ci "Golden Luqu Zhuyan entrusted the same year with a picture of bandu": "The affair is really so, the garden of the phoenix tree is full of shadows, and the jade toad vomits at first. Half an hour later, Huang Ting arrived, so as to retrieve the blue box. Fan Man, an understanding fairy couple, adds fragrance to the side of the book, which is more natural and beautiful, with a beautiful face and two speechless faces. The spring breeze should be lost. There is no need to have a high fever and silver candles. A roll of non-success weaves a pair of green sleeves, and you are jealous if you don't believe in God. Where is the jade man on this day? Ten years of ups and downs are the same, and the moonlight remains the same. Current affairs in the year, bear the heavy number. " In addition, Zhu Jianying (1845-1913) said in "Repeatedly begging farmers to paint without responding to poetry": "There is a scholar in the kiosk, and tea is served with tea." (Volume 9 of Jin Su Shan Fang Shi Chao, which was printed in the twenty-seventh year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty)

Around this time, Jin Lanzhen, a female painter and poet, wrote a poem entitled "Reading at night with fragrant red sleeves for Yin Maocai's pleasure", which said, "Jin Xian's fragrance shines with jade hooks, and the dragon's saliva is taken second place. Nong studied from Yin Qinjun and taught hands to pick snuff. " (Edited by Hu Xiaoming and Peng Guozhong, The First Collection of Women in the South of the Yangtze River Embroidering Buddhist Poems and Banknotes, Volume II, Huangshan Bookstore, 28) Jin Lanzhen, whose word is Xian Fang. Jiashan, Zhejiang. I traveled to Qingtian with my father since I was a child. At the age of 23, I married Wang Bingfeng, a juren, and I was widowed for ten years. In the first year of Tongzhi (1862), he avoided war in Fengxian. In his early years, his poems were bright and naive, but gradually depressed after middle age, without the spirit of decline. Good at painting, especially flowers, birds and cymbidium. Most of his works were destroyed by the fire of soldiers, and there is a volume of "Embroidering Buddhist Poems and Notes" handed down from generation to generation.

Zhang Shu (1781-1847) also wrote a night reading picture of Peng Renshan's red sleeves adding fragrance (under Volume 8, Collection of Poems of Yangsutang, which was printed in the twenty-second year of Qing Daoguang):

The ice is leaking and the night is fine, and Ding Dongyin and garlic ring on the front porch. Looking back late is afraid of parrots, and Xiaoyu turns to shame Li Shilang.

When I hold the Heng Wu under the moon, I think it's sweet and charming, so I can have a peek. A Nong can have a gift from the post, and the golden thread sings and cherishes his youth.

I smiled against my shoulder like a blue, and the north of the inkstone looked intoxicating. I can't understand the secrets of Han affairs, and Luo Yichen is resistant to five more cold. (Wisdom: Chen Nai, doubt is Yi Nai)

I visited Mochow in Shicheng and laughed at Du Mu's dream of Yangzhou. When I came to Hao, I wanted to be like a fu, and the hairpin hung a hook on the crown of the minister.

Zhou Zhiqi (1782-1862) wrote "Xi Qian Ying", which was prefaced by a small preface: "Red tea adds fragrance to reading pictures at night, which is the title of Wang Rongzhou's filial piety. Rong Zhou's husband has been a Yuxi for a long time. " (The clear-cut edition of A Collection of Ci Poems on Heart Day Zhai under Hongxue Ci Poems) As the saying goes:

The orchid blooms, which is more close to the painting, and the spring breeze makes people face. Chai Ying's shadow crossed the window, and the sound of books came out of the house, just turning low with Xiaoying. The seal pattern is light, and the pear clouds are chaotic. It's pleasant to talk, ask what Yun is like, and you can't be in love with your hometown. Eyebrow case, still remember, Xiao Feng Xie Ting, a fairy as soon as possible. It's hard to stay in a good dream, but the scars are still there, and I'll see you again in the haggard jade capital. The old feelings of the river are empty, and the name of the pearl tree is admired. Weigh your heart, wait for the secret province, and the palace robe will be changed.

Wang Xiancheng, born in Rongzhou, Changshu (now Jiangsu). In the twenty-fifth year of Daoguang (1845), he was a scholar. Guanting Zhanglong Road. The official to the military department gives things. There is a volume of Ci of Tonghua Fairy Pavilion (Volume 2 of Poems of China Modern Literature Department from 184 to 1919, edited by Qian Zhonglian, Shanghai Bookstore, 1991). On the same topic, Weng Xincun (1791-1862) wrote A Night Reading Picture of Wang Rongzhou's Filial Piety in Red Teas (Volume 12 of Poems of Zhi Zhi Zhai, which was printed by Mao Wenbin in Changshu in the third year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty):

The green screen is fragrant and the dream is still warm, and it is fascinating to sing a song. I checked my shirt at night, and there were still old tears in Liangyuan.

when he was young, he was removed as an assistant, and Gong Jin cut the red house and stayed in the straight house. The lotus torch is full of incense, and some people are envious of Song Shangshu.

Dong Yi (183-1851) "Candle Shadows Shake Red" (Sun Guanghua's Selected Poems of Changzhou School of Ci Poetry, Nanjing University Press, 211):

Where is the breeze, the subtle fragrance is blowing. Lv Yun low protection Dai Luo thick, and dream fly spend their honeymoons./. Luan Yuelang is in the mirror. Even on earth, it is still like heaven. The silver furnace seals the wisp, circling Pingshan, exquisite and ingenious. Ruo penetrates the heart of sandalwood, and the curtain waves are not separated by smoke marks. The fairy news recognizes Qingyun, and it is also * * * sentimental. Make it very round. Did not eliminate him, smelting dust reward. Good will yee language, spectrum into luanxiao, generally clear.

Gu Guangqi (1766—1835) wrote "Twenty-six Rhymes of Reading Paper at Night on the Red Teaches of Ge Xiaolian" ("Si Shi Zhai Ji", volume 2, composed poems, was engraved by Xu Weiren in the 29th year of Qing Daoguang; Gu Qianli Collection, Zhonghua Book Company, 27):

My friend is a treasure of Confucianism, and Zhan Ran is eager for a long time. Lust to short song, avoid suspicion and learn willow today. Only by donating money, I can remember this. A scroll of secrets in the basket, and a cycle of hands. Always read half a tree (Zhai Ming), Shisheng Jin Guan Xuan. I am not willing to rest at night, and I will stay alone with you for a long time. The famous Yangzi house is a virtual friend for ever. Suddenly, it adds fragrance to the picture, and the tea is full. It's neither Ma Rong nor Yu Zhang Kun. The skill is thick and false, and the fable is nineteen. The painter painstakingly writes, and the viewer is poor. Or it's a smile from my eyes. I've turned into a fool. I want to be a wind-chanting person, and I am troubled by it. He is incredible, and he looks down on Qiong Jiu. Every time I am sarcastic, I have no spouse in my prime. Many women are good media, and they are happy and sincere. Otherwise, what's the point of painting a secluded place? Because of thinking about the world, I am very embroidered. Sensitive to pity the young, faint, painful and ugly. Stop being happy, and fight for immortality. Silence is actually less entertainment, and it is more negative. From the reins of reason and justice, I got rid of the world rafter. Ups and downs with different books, teasing little women. If Pei Xuan forgets her worries, she will live longer. It is better to be a scholar than a scholar. Begging for less leisure, drinking alcohol.

Guo Xian (1767-1831) has a picture of Qingpingle, Red Teaches and Sweet Reading at Night (Volume 2 of Four Kinds of Lingfen Pavilion Ci, which was added in the fifth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty):

Ding Dinglian missed, and the seal wisp sold incense beasts. The heart is getting thinner and thinner, which urges Dong Lang to write poems. It's a beautiful night on earth, so I advise you to throw away your books. There's only one red candle, so don't teach spring night!

Guan sijun (184? -After 1914, there was a book titled "Reading at Night with Red Teas Adding Fragrance": "After all, it's not meaningful, and it's wise to serve children to add fragrance. Poetry and books can only be read if they are blessed, and fame and fortune do not hinder madness. Pity me, I am often lonely, and I will discuss it with my tea. In this life, I am happy and envious, and I dare to let Qing Cai discuss it in detail. " (Shenbao, July 13th, 1882)

Hu Zhijiao (Hu Lanchi), director of Entertainment Newspaper in the late Qing Dynasty, painted a picture of reading at night with red sleeves, and many literati poets wrote lyrics on this poem, such as Chen Xu's A Picture of Reading at night with red sleeves with red sleeves (Book Forest, 19) It was also published in the first issue of Game Magazine in 1913, with the signature of Chen Diexian):

Wind lanterns and horns, reading at night according to the green quinoa. The letter said that there was a golden house in the book. Borrowing Baochai to stir the fire, Trier picked the incense and enjoyed it all, and Shuang Fu, a gifted scholar and a beautiful woman. The beauty has a thin life, and I wish to plant a pair of jade in Lantian by mistake. Watch out for the old pale green, not lead, but tears and mottled. Try to create a picture, prove that you are lovesick, and this dream is broken like smoke, how can you live and continue!

Chen Xu (1879—194), whose alias is Butterfly Fairy, was born because of the deficiency of heaven. Qiantang people in Zhejiang are not only one of the philosophers of Nanshe, but also a representative of Yuanyang Butterfly School. When you are young, you are good at ci, famous for literature, and good at both ci and qu. There are four volumes of Begonia Sweet Dream Ci, three volumes of Tianxu Wosheng Qu Draft, and "and Baixiang Ci Spectrum" and so on. In cooperation with his eldest son, Chen Xiaodie, he selected 1 pieces of Bai Xiang Ci Pu and corrected them. The book is Bai Xiang Ci Pu Kao Zheng, which was published by Zhenshitang Shi Yinben in the seventh year of the Republic of China (1918) and copied by Zhenshitang Shi Yinben in 1981. As mentioned earlier, Lu Xun criticized Liu Bannong for "not disappearing the thought that talented people brought from Shanghai will have a lot of happiness", which may be related to Liu Bannong's contribution to the newspapers and magazines of Yuanyang Butterfly School. This "Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School", which came into being at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, was named after "thirty-six mandarin ducks with the same life, a pair of poor butterflies", and paid attention to recreation, entertainment and fun. "Reading at night with red tea" can be a portrayal of this school.

Xu Fumin (? -1913) "On Hu Lan's Insanity" (Monthly Novel No.12, "Stories on the Mountain", 197) The poem goes:

The dream is vaguely recognized in the red chamber, and the moon is hazy. Lingxi is a little heart-warming, and the secret grass is divided into chemical industry. Most women are unlucky birds, while boys are poor. A few times, I was afraid of picking the ear of autumn lights, and the fragrance was scattered in the epiphyllum.

Acacia is only self-pity, and the new seal is infatuated with orchid. Knowing that the same spirit is still difficult to get along with, it is strange to believe in marriage. Without pity for Boshan's heart, he broke the tear-drop words. Begonia red faded plantain green, bandu can't remember the old words.

Sun Ciqing's "A Picture of Reading at Night with Red Teas Adding Fragrance" (Monthly Fiction No.14, Monthly Fiction Society, 198) says:

A pair of figures are slim and delicate, and they are not famous for their fragrance. My heart is like a duck furnace pity my heat, light points fireflies sigh lang Yan. If I had known that today's marriage was false, I deeply regretted that the glue was sticky. What's the use of reading thousands of books? It's a dilemma to be clear and talented.

It's a sad picture of autumn, red is acacia and green is sorrow. It's hard to be a captain if you know Si Xiang early, but you should also put pen to paper to seal Hou. I hate even the heart of banana leaves is long, and my blood is stained with tears. The dream is broken, the night is cold, and the moonlight still shines on the reading building.

The "blue flaw" in the poem title is suspected as "blue delusion". Bao Ruifu's "Reading at Night with Red Teas" (Mo Yuan Cong Lu No.16, 1912) and Hong Jiayan's "Reading at Night with Red Teas" (Fudan No.7, 1918) are also works of the same title. However, Zhou Fanya's divertimento Nanzheng Palace is obviously a work of the same title, because it is prefaced by a small preface: "The title of Hu Lan is mourning the death of Ms. Yilan, and the title of" Reading at Night with Red Teas "is requested, so the score of" Peach Blossom Fan Visiting Cui "is used to make a song." (Game Magazine, No.1, 1913, signed mangrove. In 1927, it was also published in No.3, Volume 7 of Qianye Monthly, entitled "Nan Zheng Gong Ti Hu Lan Chi's Red Sleeve Reading at Night", signed by mangrove poet Zhou Fanya) Qu Yun:

[Introduction to Zhenggong] [Gui Shan Yue] The courtyard was dim at first sight, and the flower shadows were on the red wall. The blue sky is like water, the moon is like frost. See Ying Ge tired, raccoon dog sleep also, timid empty room.

〕 The main palace bends 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 〕 𞃛 1239 Wind through the green banana window. Jade onion is long, try him to sleep in a duck. Pull out the tip of the hairpin, and the furnace smoke seals. The ends of clothes are rolled up, and the arms are golden. Yanfu is unusual, Yanfu is unusual. Your eyebrows are blue and your lips are crimson. Save moths and remove silver grains; In the mouth, the sound of the book is loud, but the eye is stealing and throwing, and the red makeup is awkward.
