In the dim night, against the backdrop of red candles, this withered flower seems to present a strange brilliance at the last moment of life, as beautiful as a colorful hazy dream. The "reward" after waking up in the middle of the night is a further manifestation of "drunkenness", and it also shows the poet's reluctance and pity for the beautiful things that are about to die.

The artistic conception of the conclusion is similar to the artistic conception of "staying in the dry lotus and listening to the rain" in the work "Love the Cuizhou in the Pavilion" when the poet was frustrated in his early years. The withered lotus flowers are generally ignored, but the poet uses raindrops and red candles to match them. Can be described as turning decay into magic. It exudes a sad aesthetic feeling and is deeply loved by readers. In Su Shi's Haitang, "I'm afraid of falling asleep at night. Burn a candle and shine red makeup "comes from this sentence." "Just omitted some desolate feeling in Li Shangyin's poems.

The whole poem revolves around flowers, especially the last sentence shows the obsession with flowers. Not only love blooming flowers. It's hard to see beauty even in falling flowers.
