Tang Dynasty is an era of poetry, and pastoral poetry is an important part of Tang poetry. There have always been different views on the reasons for the formation of pastoral poems in Tang Dynasty. I tend to say that the hermit style of literati is the reason for the prosperity of pastoral poetry in Tang Dynasty. First of all, the seclusion and the creative environment of finding another job led to the trend of the integration of some pastoral poems and landscape poems in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Secondly, it urged the literati in the prosperous Tang Dynasty to inherit the tradition of Tao Yuanming's pastoral poetry with aesthetic ideals in line with the spirit of the times. Thirdly, it formed the aesthetic taste of pursuing peace, tranquility and elegance in the pastoral poems of the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
