Poems mourning the Sichuan earthquake and expressing patriotism

Ask Sichuan —— Written on the First Anniversary of Wenchuan Earthquake

Author: Jin Zishan You

On May 12, 2008, at 2: 00 p.m. 18, a devastating earthquake occurred in Wenchuan, Sichuan, causing rivers to sob and China to cry./KLOC-0,000,000 innocent people were killed and countless families were destroyed. Even if the CPC Central Committee the State Council deployed earthquake relief. At that moment, my heart was broken, tears rose and a love flew to Sichuan. To this end, I wrote several poems, one of which is Looking at Sichuan. Today coincides with the first anniversary of the Wenchuan earthquake. In order to express my grief and concern for Sichuan, I specially wrote a poem saying: Ask Sichuan-

Sichuan, the mountains and rivers I once missed,

Sichuan, the broken walls I was worried about,

Sichuan, my once strange and dear fellow villagers,

-How are you now?

Sichuan, where I once gave my love,

In Sichuan, I have prayed to distant land many times.

Do you know what I want to know most at the moment?

Sichuan, I want to know-

Have you ever been hurt?

Have the shadows in your heart been driven away?

I know, this scar is deep,

This shadow is really terrible.

But I still want to tell you-

No matter how heavy the shadow is, you should try to drive it away.

No matter how deep the wound is, it must have the power to heal!

Sichuan, one year-

Not too long or too short,

But you, in my heart forever.

There is no family there,

But it worries me more than anywhere I have relatives.

I want to know-

Can all the children in the disaster area go to school?

Are all the children who have lost their parents taken care of?

Where are their clothes and food?

Can sleeping at night be disturbed by nightmares?

What should I do when I wake up in the morning and think of my mother?

How hard is it to have no father on Sunday?

Are all our comforts in place?

You know how hard it is to find a broken heart!

Sichuan, one year.

You in my heart forever,

I want to know-

How is the reconstruction progress in the disaster area?

Is the donation of love firmly implemented? ,

Is there any new corruption in the disaster area?

Did the money fall into the pockets of corrupt officials?

Sichuan, you should know best at this time.

-love is most afraid of being wrapped by greed.

-charity is most afraid of defeating the strong with the weak.

-kindness is most afraid of being cheated by bad people.

-people are most afraid of being disturbed!

Sichuan, Sichuan-

At this point, I want to know a lot-

Children whose mothers left last words can be placed;

Children saved by the Prime Minister's awakening can be fine;

Can an old man who has lost his legs walk?

Do heroic teenagers who lay down their lives to save lives learn well?

……

Too much, too much.

I really want to ask everything about Sichuan-

Have all the collapsed factories resumed production?

Has the damaged dam been firmly repaired?

The lake blocked by the weir should be smooth, right?

Have all the broken bridges been repaired?

……
