The ancient poems about rain in 24 solar terms are as follows:
(1) Good rain knows the season, and spring happens. Sneak into the night with the wind, moisten things silently. The wild path is dark, and the river boat is bright. Look at the red and wet place, and the flowers are heavy in Jinguan City. This poem was written in the spring of the second year of Shang Yuan (AD 761). When he wrote this poem, he had lived in Chengdu Caotang for two years. After a period of exile, Du Fu finally settled in Chengdu. He cultivated himself, planted vegetables and flowers, and interacted with farmers. He had a deep affection for the spring rain, so he wrote this beautiful poem describing the rain on a spring night and moistening everything.
(2) Rain washes the spring, and Hirata has seen the dragon. Sacrifice the fish to Yingpu Island, and return the geese to the mountains. The clouds are light and heavy, and the scenery is light and thick. As spring enters February, the flowers are full of shadows. The poem Yuan Zhen covers the important phenological changes of rain and solar terms in three short sentences. Then people can grasp which solar term they are in from the changes of natural scenery and biology. For example, rural areas can start spring ploughing, while fishermen can salvage fat fish.
(3) The drizzle in Tianjie is crisp, but the grass color is not close at a distance. This is the most beautiful season of the year, far more than the late spring of green willows. Through meticulous observation, this paper describes the beautiful scenery of light rain in Chang 'an in early spring, and expresses the sensitivity to the vibrant scene when spring comes and the joy caused by it, in order to entice friends to go out and feel the information of early spring. The latter one focuses on lyricism, teasing friends to go out of the house and feel the information of early spring.
