There is no doubt that prose poetry is an independent style. Michelle, president of China Prose Poetry Society, said that Prose Poetry "is an independent new style produced by the combination of poetry and prose". Prose poetry is a beautiful "mixture" with two different blood relations: poetry and prose. But we can't say that "prose poetry is prose poetry" or "prose poetry is poetic prose". It is neither poetry nor prose, but prose poetry is prose poetry, which is an independent style. If yellow is one color and blue is another, isn't green, which is a mixture of yellow and blue, an independent color?
2. Micro-prose poetry is an independent style differentiated from prose poetry. Judging from the development trend and law of literature, the distinction between styles is becoming more and more detailed, which makes prose poetry win sufficient development space. Just as poetry can be divided into long poems, short poems, short poems and miniature poems, prose poems can also be divided into long, medium, short and miniature poems. This division reflects the meticulous development of literary style, the exquisiteness pursued by writers and the conciseness of mass reading.
Second, miniature prose poems are prose poems within 100 words.
1. Divide the length of prose poems. Liu Gucheng said in the article "Aesthetic Features of Prose Poetry": "Generally speaking, the length of prose poetry is between 100 and 600 words, which has a large creative space. This is also the knowledge of many poets and literary theorists. " "Of course, prose poems of about 600 words still account for the vast majority. Beyond this range, it can be called a medium-length prose poem and a long prose poem. " However, the defect here is the neglect of the study of micro-prose poems within 100 words. Therefore, according to the length of space, it may be not only necessary but also very beneficial to make such a distinction between prose poems. That is, prose poems within 100 are mini-prose poems, 100-600 are short mini-poems, 600- 1000 are medium-long mini-poems, and those above 1000 are long mini-poems.
2. The word number of mini-prose poems is limited to 100, which has become the knowledge of a considerable number of mini-poetry practitioners. It should be said that the concept of miniature prose poetry is an innovation in the development of miniature poetry. Micro-prose poetry is directly related to the development of micro-poetry, so Mr. Mu Ren said in his article "My Opinion on Micro-prose Poetry": "Micro-poetry embodies the extreme pursuit of short poetic style and should be as short as possible. I advocate that each micro-prose poem should be within 100 words, and emphasize that "micro-prose poems should be limited to 100 words", which has also been recognized by the micro-poetry community. It can be said that micro-prose poetry is a fast-paced fast food culture, a trend of micro-literature, and a style favored by mass media, especially newspapers and magazines. It is as popular as "hundred-word prose, hundred-word novel, hundred-word fairy tale, hundred-word story and hundred-word speech" and is deeply loved by readers. If the sea is poetry and the beach is prose, then shells should be miniature prose poems; If the sun is poetry and the moon is prose, then the stars should be miniature prose poems. In other words, mini-poems and mini-prose poems are lovely "elves" in various "lilliputian countries" of mini-literature. If you want to define mini-prose poetry, it is: the soul of poetry, the coat of prose, the fine skeleton (the length within 100 words) = mini-prose poetry.
3. The word number of mini-prose poems is limited to 100, which is the only feature that distinguishes mini-prose poems from prose poems in form. Mr. Mu Ren thinks: "Miniature poetry should be limited to three lines (or three natural paragraphs), which is one of the characteristics that distinguish miniature prose poetry from other prose poems." In this regard, the author thinks it is inappropriate. Poetry is based on "line", while prose poetry is based on "length", not "paragraph" or "line". Therefore, no matter how many paragraphs and lines a prose poem has, as long as the number of words is within 100, it is a miniature prose poem. For example, the famous contemporary prose poem and prose writer Geng's "Maple": "On the cliff, a maple tree hangs. /The moonlight lit up the bronze branches. /A thousand leaves are dancing and partying. /The hand of the wind rotates. " There is also "Shenma": "A horse, with its horseshoes galloping, runs towards the sunset. /The golden light of the sunset rises with tassels, which are shaking long bangs and whistling in the wind. /A moment of glory. /The earth without hoofbeats is eclipsed. /A mouse came out of the hole and filled the gap. " "Maple" has only 44 words, and "Shenma" has only 84 words, not three lines or paragraphs. Can we say that it is not a miniature poem?
Of course, 100 words is an approximate number, not a fixed number. Isn't the word 10 1 a miniature prose poem? Therefore, the division of prose poems is more based on the needs of research and the need to explore the stylistic characteristics and writing rules of prose poems with different lengths, rather than rigid dogma and writing constraints. At the same time, it is worth emphasizing that the number of words is not the ultimate criterion for judging the quality of an article. It is not that the shorter the writing, the better. Only writing a beautiful chapter in the limited space of 100 words is a valuable miniature prose poem.
3. Micro-prose poetry is the organic unity of "micro, prose and poetry".
1, miniature prose poem. The essence is poetry. Although it doesn't have strict rules like ordinary new poetry, since it is a "poem", it must have the characteristics of poetry, including its language, charm, artistic conception, image, condensation and jumping. However, miniature prose poems are quite different from miniature poems. Small and exquisite in length, profound and concise in meaning, outstanding in image, broad and ethereal in thought and full of philosophical thoughts; Compared with short poems, it has wider scenes, freer layout, more vivid imagination, richer images and stronger emotions.
2. The form of mini-prose poetry is prose. Its form is similar to prose, and its sentence pattern is free, so it can be free from strict constraints. However, it can be written more concisely than prose, and it can get rid of the usual description and background explanation in prose, leaving a gap in language and thinking, so it is shorter than prose, more incisive in thought, more refined in poetry, more refined in language and deeper in artistic conception. Of course, the concept of "prose" in mini-prose poems here is not so-called "lyric prose", and this kind of understanding is narrow, which will shrink the free expression space of mini-prose poems. Mr. Bao said in the preface to the criticism of prose poets' works: "From the fact of prose poetry creation in ancient and modern times, prose in prose poetry does not refer to what we usually call lyrical and descriptive prose, but refers to all literary and artistic forms except poetry, including novels, scripts, essays, fables, legends, myths and so on. , which is in a broad sense. Moreover, from the artistic conception of prose poetry, it should also include the characteristics of artistic expression such as painting, sculpture and music. Therefore, prose poetry should be the integration and dialectical synthesis of poetry and literature (that is, various literary styles). Can be used in poetry or poetry; It is a new style of independence and freedom produced by the cross-infiltration of poetry and text, and it is a new' gestalt quality' of art. "
3. The styles of mini-prose poems are rich and varied. The poet Geng said in the article "For the Prosperity of Prose Poetry": "Prose poetry captures the soul from poetry, borrows light clothes from prose, absorbs rich colors from painting, and finds a gentle or high-spirited harmonious rhythm from music ..." In other words, prose poetry (including miniature prose poetry) is an independent literary genre that combines various artistic essences. Therefore, the styles of mini-prose poems should also be rich and varied, including lyrical style, imaginative style, scenic style, narrative style, philosophical style, miscellaneous style, fable style, metrical style and so on. However, no matter what style, miniature prose poems should be full of personalized emotions and reflect the poet's unique and profound life experience.
"The History of the Changes of China's Style in the Past Hundred Years" says: "Prose poetry provides a means to express the complex and changeable emotions of modern people more freely ... Free verse is the liberation of metrical poetry, and free verse is the liberation of free verse ... Of course, we can't say that the future of poetry is prose poetry, but it does predict the future of poetry." This shows that prose poetry has a very broad space for development, and miniature prose poetry can also make great achievements. But objectively speaking, pure literature, including prose poems, is facing unprecedented challenges in an increasingly secular world. Moreover, the miniature prose poem is just a very delicate seedling, which needs careful care to bloom brilliant flowers.
