This is a poem by philip morin freneau. Philip morin freneau is a famous American poet, nationalist, debater, captain and newspaper editor.

After graduation, Fraineau tried teaching, but soon gave up. He also pursued further research in theology, but gave up after about two years. 1776, Fraineau left the United States for the West Indies, where he would spend time writing about the beauty of nature.

1778, Fraineau returned to the United States and rejoined the patriotic cause. Fraineau eventually became a crew member of a revolutionary privateer and was captured as such. He was detained on a British prison ship for about six weeks. This unpleasant experience gave birth to more patriotic and anti-British works during and after the revolution.

After all, Fraineau lived a more idyllic life after retirement and wrote some political and natural works. Fraineau's non-political works are a combination of neoclassicism and romanticism.
