In Germany, almost every child knows Christian Morgenstern, perhaps even because his school is named after him. Numerous public organizations were named after him in memory of the poet. March 31st, 214 is the centenary of his death.
Christian Morgenstern was born in Munich in p>1871. As the biographer Jochen Schimmang said, he lived a "short and difficult life". Because of his difficult family circumstances, he never stops and has no home to rely on. He made a living by writing and translating, and lung disease made him weaker and weaker. A few months before the outbreak of World War I, he died in Melano at the age of 43. Morgenstern is not an undisputed figure. Schimmang described how he was deeply influenced by the anti-Semitic philosopher Paul de Lagarde. In this commemorative year, a series of exhibitions in Wilder, Brandenburg, showed all aspects of the poet. Wilder and the "gallows Mountain" there are places of literature.
