The geographical location of the United States

The United States is located in central North America, bordering Canada in the north, Mexico in the south, the Pacific Ocean in the west and the Atlantic Ocean in the east. It is a constitutional federal republic consisting of 50 states and a federal special administrative region (Washington, D.C.).
