I have been engaged in teaching for more than 20 years, and I know the importance of Chinese activities. Every year, I hold many activities and summarize and reflect on each activity many times. In 20 17, we applied for a provincial project. Our research group made a systematic study on comprehensive practical activities and classified them according to different grades and seasons, which made them more in line with the progress and trend of the subject and greatly improved the learning efficiency of students.
First of all, we arrange activities according to the progress of the subject. For example, senior one is compulsory. Students have just entered senior high school and are full of curiosity about the knowledge of senior high school. We came into contact with new poems, such as Farewell to Cambridge by Xu Zhimo, Rain Lane by Dai Wangshu and Wild Goose River, My Nanny by Ai Qing. Images contain emotions, and the language is free and flexible. After the students got in touch, we organized an essay competition for new poetry creation according to the unit learning suggestions. We select essays, list the first, second and third prizes, publicly display the winning works, and then edit them into books. Through this essay activity, we found that students are very clever in writing and the use of images is novel and appropriate. The exhibition of works and books gives students a sense of accomplishment, which greatly stimulates their interest in Chinese and greatly improves their understanding of poetry. The arrangement of activities is closely related to the subject content and complements classroom learning. Activities are the deepening and extension of classroom learning, and the sublimation and improvement of classroom learning.
In addition to the creation of new poems, we also arranged the activities of a series of departments in combination with the textbooks of Compulsory 1 to Compulsory 5. Compulsory one: we have a Chinese character contest, idiom contest and couplet collection; Compulsory 2: We made a surname inquiry, and asked students to inquire about the information and write their own surname stories. Compulsory 3 tells the story of the Three Kingdoms and a Dream of Red Mansions according to the reading guide of famous books; Compulsory four performed drama performances such as Dou Eyuan and Thunderstorm; Obligation 5 has carried out logic and Chinese learning and debate activities.
Secondly, we arrange some comprehensive practical activities according to the season. During the National Day holiday, people took to the streets with a strong festive atmosphere. TV programs praised the achievements of the motherland's construction, which can give students vivid patriotic education. Our holiday homework is to make a handwritten newspaper with the theme of patriotism. First of all, paper is distributed to students in a unified way, so that they can take it home. Secondly, tell them the characteristics of handwritten newspapers and emphasize illustrations. Third, tell students that excellent works generally have the following characteristics: vivid pictures, prominent themes and bold atmosphere. Through the selection of handwritten newspapers, students' writing and painting abilities are not only exercised, but also their patriotic feelings of caring about national politics are cultivated. When they come back from vacation, they will make timely selection, list their rankings, award prizes and display their works. There are a large number of participants in this kind of activities, which do not occupy classroom time and school time at all, and provide a stage for each student to show their talents.
According to the promotion of the season, we have arranged the following activities. Tomb-Sweeping Day guides students to write an article to remember their ancestors; An exhibition of Qu Yuan's thoughts was held on the Dragon Boat Festival. On Mother's Day, an essay contest and a handwritten newspaper contest were held to express gratitude to my mother. On the May 4th Youth Day, a speech contest was held with the theme of "Flying Youth and Singing Ideals". The Double Ninth Festival organizes an exhibition on rewarding parents' work reports; Teachers' Day shows students' poems praising teachers and education; The Mid-Autumn Festival organizes students to consult and appreciate the poems written by the ancients about the Mid-Autumn Festival; On New Year's Day, we will hold cultural activities to welcome the Spring Festival. Introduction to the collection forms of traditional Spring Festival cultural activities in various places during the Spring Festival; Lantern Festival collects Yuanxiao poems, and holds lantern riddles and solve riddles on the lanterns activities.
Third, we engage in some interdisciplinary activities. The examination questions of political philosophy in senior two and the big questions of history in senior three are mostly related to famous aphorisms and classical Chinese knowledge. For example, philosophical sentences in poetry, thinkers' views, historical documents and so on. We will sort out these questions, do some special topics, let students translate, grasp the key words and grammatical features of sentences, and let them learn to understand the meaning of the text with literal meaning, which will greatly improve students' correct examination of questions. In this way, the study of classical Chinese is combined with the multiple-choice and subjective questions of political history, so that students can apply what they have learned. It not only accumulated a large number of notional words in classical Chinese, consolidated the grammar of classical Chinese, but also improved the historical and political achievements.
In addition, in view of the psychological problems of adolescent students, we unite with psychology teachers to guide their students to correct their adolescent bad emotions in the form of short articles. We use the time in the composition class. Set some positive composition topics, such as "transformation" and "never give up", to guide them to face troubles, troubles and other bad emotions. They can adjust their mentality by talking to friends, seeking enlightenment from books, releasing their hearts to nature, communicating with teachers and seeking comfort from their parents, so as to make themselves positive, energetic and optimistic. We ask students to write down their own process of mediating their mentality and evaluate it by writing. Evaluate rankings, award prizes and certificates, edit students' works and publish them into books. Through such activities, the purpose is to let all students return to the mainstream, let students educate their students, learn from each other and live a good life together.
Our comprehensive Chinese practice activities, based on the classroom, extend to extracurricular activities, then to other disciplines, and then to the whole school, and slowly we let him enter the society. For this reason, many activities are aimed at getting students into life. During the holidays, we let students go home to investigate their grandparents, parents and their understanding of agricultural income. Through investigation, students know what crops are often grown in their hometown. How many seeds and fertilizers do you need to put into each mu of land? How much is an acre? What is the price of food? What is the investment and net profit of an acre of land? What do you think of agricultural production and life in rural areas? Then we summarize the students' investigation reports, write articles about finding and solving problems, and attach them to the exhibition column of students' works. Through this survey, students realized the hardships of agricultural labor, the necessity of land circulation, the urgency of scientific and technological farming and the importance of learning knowledge. An investigation activity is a vivid education lesson, far better than a well-meaning sermon.
We also arrange for students to write interviews with people. Who do you want to know? What do you want to know about him? Make an interview outline and record it in person. You can interview your parents, your teachers, your classmates, your friends, and you can also interview the old doorman and aunt who danced in the street square dance. This kind of writing can not only train students' communicative ability, but also dare to know people and things around them boldly, and expand students' ideological breadth and depth, pay attention to society and think about life. These Chinese practice activities are not so much the completion of composition homework as the orientation of students' thoughts.
There are many types of Chinese comprehensive practice activities, and the one we often use is handy and easy to operate. I hope it can be popularized and attracted the attention of teachers.
