Original works of Xu Zhimo's travel

Traveling in the Clouds is a very exquisite short poem by Xu Zhimo. Its original name was Dedication, and later it was renamed Yunyou.

Full text:

That day, you wandered in the air,

Free and relaxed, you don't want to stay.

On the other side of the sky or in the corner of the earth,

Your happiness is unrestrained,

You are more casual on the humble ground.

There are first-class rivers, although you are bright.

When crossing the road, I found his ethereal soul.

Wake him up and hold on to your beautiful image.

He clung to deep sadness,

Because beauty cannot stand still in the landscape;

He wants you to fly across Qian Shan,

Cast a shadow on the wider lake and sea!

He's wasting away for you, a first-class stream,

In the hope of incompetence, I hope you fly back!

Extended data:

"You danced in the air that day", the poem begins with the second person, suggesting that the lyricist admires it. Travel in the poem is characterized by carefree: "Your happiness is unrestrained and carefree".

This kind of carefree pleasure is really Qingyuan with no earthly fireworks, which not only contains the profound experience of the comfortable mentality that blends with everything in "Zhuangzi Xiaoyao Tour", but also has the instant feeling that the lyrical subject soul echoes.

Clouds floating in the air swim in a proper way, and they are inconsistent with each other. Why do they give the lyric subject a deep yearning? It is not clear in the poem, but it is indirectly explained later. You don't care about the humble ground/first-class rivers.

At this point, the lyric subject pointed out the existence of a third party as a bystander. "When crossing the road, he touched his ethereal spirit/awakened him and hugged your beautiful image."

The contrast between two different life forms reflects the hidden psychological course and life value orientation of the lyric subject. That "first-class water" is undoubtedly a symbol of the objectification of lyric subject. Calling the third person "he" in the poem has formed a different emotional effect from "you".

At the same time, the existence of the third party "He" appears in an image opposite to travel, and it also contains the feeling that the lyric subject is so sad and eager for rebirth and comfort.

The word "Yan Ming" is full of subjectivity. On the one hand, it compares the different living forms between cloud travel and Jianshui, on the other hand, it implies the anxious waiting heart of the lyric subject and when the pain of life will cross the dark abyss to freedom and freedom.

The poet takes "first-class water" as his self-portrait, longing for the drifting clouds to paint some bright colors on his weak mind. Therefore, "first-class water" is the most vivid metaphor of the poet's own mood.
