My thoughts on ancient poetry are as follows:
If China is a country of poetry, then Tang poetry is the peak and treasure of China's poetry development history. Tang poetry, though only a few short lines, embodies the spiritual strength of several generations of China people. The concise and vivid language seems to tell us about the history and culture of China.
It can be said that Three Hundred Poems of Tang Poetry is the most widely circulated anthology of Tang poetry in the past two hundred years, which is popular at home and abroad and lasts for a long time. As a masterpiece of Tang poetry, it has the following distinct characteristics:
First, the selected poetic style is comprehensive. Five-character ancient poems, regular poems, quatrains and seven-character ancient poems, regular poems, quatrains and Yuefu all selected the most representative masterpieces in different categories.
second, the authors of the selected poems are numerous. There are not only "great people" such as Li Bai, Du Fu, Wang Wei, Bai Juyi, Du Mu, Liu Zongyuan, Liu Yuxi and Li Shangyin, but also many "small families" such as princes, monks, singers and even anonymous people.
Third, the selected poems are catchy and easy to recite. For example, You Zi Yin (Meng Jiao), Cao (Bai Juyi), Chunxiao (Meng Haoran), Silent Night Thinking (Li Bai), Jiang Xue (Liu Zongyuan) and so on. These poems are beautiful in artistic conception and harmonious in intonation. From the old people who are dying to the children with yellow hair, they can recite several such eternal songs with their mouths open.
Fourth, the selected poems are based on a wide range of materials, and are not eclectic. There are descriptions of natural scenery, such as Du Fu's "Looking at Yue"; There are also displays of rural customs, such as Meng Haoran's "Passing the Old People's Village".
Both expose the profound disasters brought by the war to the people, such as Du Fu's "The Car Shop"; There are also expressions of the poet's farewell to his friends, such as Li Bai's a farewell to meng haoran on his way to yangzhou. There are both descriptions of the complex feelings when returning home, such as He Zhizhang's "Homecoming Book"; There are also tragedies that describe the love of kings, such as Bai Juyi's Song of Eternal Sorrow ... This book has everything from street customs to frontier scenery, from trivial matters of life to national hatred and family worries, romanticism and realism.
Every poem is written by a different poet. It is like a lamp on the sea and coal in the snow, always helping us and warming us. It is like a teacher, teaching and inspiring us all the time, whether in study or at work. Every poem is so intriguing, and every poem is so profound.
I picked up Three Hundred Tang Poems and read it carefully again. I found that every poem is a fable and tells me a profound truth. Appreciating the ancient poems in reading can help a lost person find a bright way and a wandering soul find the direction of life again.
In a word, I think the book 3 Tang Poems will leave the essence of Tang poetry in the hearts of China people from generation to generation forever. I am very grateful to the editor of this book for offering us a good spiritual food. As a China person, let's "learn 3 Tang poems by heart, even if we can't write them"!
