Zhang Yuanshan’s profile

Born in Shanghai in 1963, his ancestral home is Shaoxing, Zhejiang.

Graduated from East China Normal University in 1984 and became a middle school teacher.

In 1995, he resigned and started writing, setting a thirty-year writing plan. With the pre-Qin Taoist "Fu, Lao and Zhuang" as the core, he spent his life studying and spreading Chinese Taoism.

He has opened dozens of columns and published more than a thousand articles. He has won four "Bookstore" awards. Founded the "Zhuangzi Jianghu" website and the "Zhuangzi Friends" forum.

Fifteen philosophical monographs, classic collations, biographies, novels, ideological essays, literary reviews, fables, poetry collections, and poetry analysis have been published, with 28 domestic and overseas editions.

Fu Xixue's follow-up monographs "The Way of Jade", "The Way of Bronze", and "The War between Yan and Huang" are being written.
