The introduction of Du Fu's "Quetrains" is as follows:
1. "Quetrains" Tang Dynasty·Du Fu
Chiri, the rivers and mountains are beautiful, and the spring breeze is fragrant with flowers and grass.
Swallows fly when the mud melts, and mandarin ducks sleep in the warm sand.
Translation: The mountains and rivers are so beautiful in the spring, and the spring breeze carries the fragrance of flowers and plants.
Swallows fly to build nests with spring mud in their mouths, and mandarin ducks lie on the warm sand.
2. "Quequatrains" Tang Dynasty·Du Fu
The medicinal strips and nails are moist and green, and the color passes through the brown pavilion and enters the grass pavilion.
The seedlings are all over the empty mountain and they are ashamed to be praised, and their roots are cowardly in the gaps.
Translation:
The branches and leaves of the medicinal herbs grow lush green, and the green color spreads across the palm pavilion and into the grass pavilion.
I don’t deserve the reputation of “empty mountains full of seedlings”, as I am afraid that they will not be able to form their roots in the cracked soil.
3. "Quequatrains" Tang Dynasty·Du Fu
Two orioles sing in the green willows, and a row of egrets ascends to the blue sky.
The window contains the snow of Qianqiu in Xiling, and the door is docked with a boat thousands of miles away from Dongwu
Translation:
Two orioles were singing on the green willow branches, and a row of egrets Fly straight into the sky.
The year-round snow on the Xiling outside the window is white, and ships from Soochow are moored at the door.
4. "Quequatrains" Tang Dynasty·Du Fu
Bamboo shoots grow in the west of the hall and don't open the door, but peppers go to the north of the cut but back to the village.
The plum blossoms are ripe and Xu eats them with Zhu Lao, and the pine trees are high and they discuss Ruan Sheng's discussion.
When he saw the plums that were about to ripen in the garden, he invited Mr. Zhu to taste them when they were ripe. When he saw the pine trees in front of the hall, he hoped to talk with Ruan Sheng about the past and the present under the shade of the pine trees.
5. "Quequatrains" Tang Dynasty·Du Fu
I wanted to make weirloom clouds return to the turbulence, but I was surprised by the cold sound of the April rain.
There was a dragon cave in Qingxi first, where mountains of bamboo and stone were too big to be set down.
Translation:
I was planning to build a weir beam when suddenly dark clouds covered the rapids, and then I was surprised that the rain in April was so cold.
Maybe there have been dragons living in this green stream for a long time. Although the bamboo and stones used to build the embankment are piled up in mountains, we dare not take risks anymore.
