In my bookcase, there are hundreds of children's books, big and small, thick and thin. Magazines such as Enlightenment, Red Scarf, Youth and The King of Fairy Tales, as well as The Journey to the West's The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, A Dream of Red Mansions and Education of Love. Whenever I am free, I will sit down and read with a book in my hand. Because reading makes me fast, reading is a kind of enjoyment for me.
According to my mother, when I was still in the cradle, whenever I cried, my father took Enlightenment magazine and read stories to me in his nonstandard Mandarin. Many times, my father's story turned into a lullaby. I stopped crying when I was a few months old and gradually entered a sweet dream.
Later, when I went to kindergarten, I could read picture books by myself. Every day when I come home from school, I always read with relish, and I often point to pictures and talk to myself. Before going to bed, I always pester my mother to read stories to me, or look at pictures and make up stories and children's songs with my mother.
Five-and-a-half-year-old, went to primary school, learned pinyin, and could read some books. Books such as Forest Tales, Arabian Nights, Fairy Tales of 365 Nights, and Children's Learning Encyclopedia are all my favorites.
With the growth of my age, my love for reading has almost reached the point of obsession, and I have become a "bookworm". I love reading so much because reading not only absorbs a lot of knowledge and nutrition, but also makes me happy.
I remember when I was in the second grade, in a science class, the teacher suddenly mentioned a question that was beyond the book, and the students didn't know it, but I just read it in Encyclopedia of Junior Two, so I proudly raised my little hand and answered the teacher's question. My classmates all looked at me with new eyes. From then on, they all knew my greatest feature-love of reading, and gave me a nickname called "Little Bookworm".
One day last year, the teacher assigned math homework. The teacher first wrote a few simple questions, which were easy for everyone to see and some were happy. Later, the teacher wrote several more questions. When the students were dumbfounded, the teacher smiled and said, "Don't worry, go back and read more books to contact with today's and previous knowledge, and then think about it. The teacher believes that you can answer it. " When I got home, I tried to think, but I couldn't solve these problems. Mother said, "Please look through the books first." I went through the "Troubleshooting of Mathematics in Xiao Sheng" my mother bought me, and finally turned to questions similar to these questions. So I did several questions correctly according to the solution in the book and the content I studied that day. I was so happy when I finished these questions, and I once again realized the happiness of reading.
Now, I am in the fourth grade. Every time I comment on my composition, the teacher praises me for my good writing in class, because I use a lot of good words and sentences, which are accumulated by reading at ordinary times.
