The writing background of Du Fu's quatrains

In the spring of the second year of Guangde in Tang Daizong (764), after the Anshi Rebellion was put down.

Du Fu learned that his friend had returned to Chengdu to visit Shu, so he followed him back to Chengdu Caotang. At this time, Du Fu's mood was particularly comfortable. Faced with a vibrant scene, he couldn't help writing a set of impromptu poems "Four quatrains".

This poem depicts the beautiful scenery Du Fu saw, and also expresses his yearning and cherish for a peaceful life.
