Yu Zhu's Modern Poetry

Poem 1: Bonsai of Asparagus

Delicate skin and penetrating

Poetic Jiangnan

How many times did it appear in my dream

Qian Shan was blocked by thousands of waters

The distance was too far

I imagined it wantonly

But it was so unrestrained

It was good

A small pot of Asparagus. Is it south of the Yangtze River?

A touch of green is floating in the wind.

A cloud is spotted.

Overlying branches and leaves are swaying.

A small umbrella is erected to shelter pedestrians from the wind and rain.

The cobblestone path

The deep and shallow footprints are faintly discernible.

It is glittering and translucent and winding to the depths of the jungle.

The familiar childhood laughter spreads to the wilderness.

A lake is rippling.

People who wander around the golden rice fields

holding

a bonsai of asparagus

running around

on the road full of temptation

don't lose yourself

always remember

take good care of the distant

warm and sweet home

Poetry 2: Cuizhu

You are an old dancer.

Yushu is graceful, and

Yuzhu wind dance is more graceful.

The body is graceful,

The shadow is graceful;

the body is green, and

the leaves are green.

You are a green spirit,

The snow is heavy and the green is dripping;

change a season for another day,

you are still free from vulgarity and aura.

charming but not fragile,

the wind can't crush it;

independent but not lonely,

thousands of branches are connected into a piece.

I wish to live in the bamboo forest, and

I wish to live in the bamboo forest.
