My China Heart is a patriotic song, sung by Zhang Mingmin, written by Huang Jiansheng and composed by Wang Fuling. Included in the album My China Heart released by 1983 and the album Ming Qing released in 2005.
1984, Zhang Mingmin sang this song at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala. In the same year, the song won the third God Bell Award from the Song Editorial Department of China Music Association.
Deng Bingheng found Hong Kong songwriter James J.S.Wong and asked him to write a national anthem. James J.S.Wong offered the same price as Cantonese songs, and Deng Bingheng agreed. When David Henry Hwang wrote "My China Heart", the lyrics were written quickly. Because my heart was full of feelings, I passed it without any modification, and then Wang Fuling composed the music. After the work was completed, Zhang Mingmin sang it.
