The so-called ancient style refers to ancient customs and habits, mostly simple life styles, such as ancient customs still exist; second, it refers to a kind of literature The carrier is not ancient poetry. There are only three types of ancient styles: song, line and chant, for example: "Long Song Xing", "Short Song Xing", "Song of Bai Xue Sending Judge Wu Back to the Capital", "Song of Thatched Cottage Destroyed by the Autumn Wind", etc. There are fifteen national styles in the Book of Songs, and later generations also called poetry "wind".
After the Tang Dynasty, poets wrote ancient style poems, as opposed to metrical poems, and often called them "ancient style" or marked "ancient style" in their titles. At the same time, ancient style can also be used as a style. As far as lyrics are concerned, the biggest feature is that the lyrics mostly use poetry or imitate the style of antiquity.
2. Chinese style, that is, Chinese style. As far as lyrics are concerned, they are created using various language symbols containing Chinese elements and images, and most of the themes are ancient Chinese poems or legends.
Difference 2: Use of rhymes
1. The rhymes used in Chinese style words are temporarily called homonym rhymes, that is, words with the same or similar pronunciation of finals can be used as rhymes, such as i is the same as in, ing, ian is the same as ie, ue, etc.
2. Ancient style Ci is slightly different. It originates from poetry, but is also greatly influenced by modern languages. In addition to following homophone rhymes, it can also be written using ancient rhymes. Such as u and v, en and in, eng and ing, etc. Of course, most of the ancient poems nowadays are mainly based on homophonic rhymes. There are relatively few ancient rhymes, but they are not absent. Mengyin Qianzunyue's "Chibi Lige" is mainly written with u and v.
Difference three: Expression method
1. Chinese style lyrics are relatively straightforward, with some modern pop music styles. To put it figuratively speaking, the expression method of Chinese style lyrics is linear. Of course, the Chinese style "Flowers Full of Houses" expresses emotions more directly, such as "The beauty of flowers without your beauty is a sin", "The cold feeling of kissing dew is an aftertaste", etc.
2. Gufeng Ci is more subtle and restrained, relying more on specific imagery symbols to express it. Gufeng Ci is curved. For example, in the ancient style "Ru Meng Ling", there are very few sentences directly describing lovesickness in the whole poem, and most of them are hidden in various images, such as "It is difficult to find the fragrance of old agarwood again" and "Now the Spring Festival couplets have been replaced by a few new ones." "Zhang", "How many times have I sighed at the West Chamber during the beautiful period of the flower moon", etc.
