A suggestion for my friend Liu.

This poem was written by Li Bai when he sent Liu to live in seclusion in Hunan in the early years of Tianbao, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. This poem has eight sentences and forty-two words. Because many words are repetitive, I feel that the rhyme is flowing, the feelings are swaying, the meaning is profound and the artistic conception is far away. It should be said that it is the top grade in the song line.

The charm of this poem lies in an outpouring of true feelings. The poet sent Liu to a secluded place with his own feelings, and even used Liu's glass to water his barricade.

In the early years of Tianbao, Li Bai was called to Chang 'an with the ambition of saving the world. However, the political reality of Chang 'an's "singing songs and laughing at pearls and jade, cultivating talents and dross" (the fifteenth part of ancient style) shattered his expectations, and he had to consider his future destination and destination. At this time, he sent his friends home, no longer treated the general feelings of seclusion, but showed a strong feeling of breaking away from corrupt politics, so his feelings broke out.

The expression chosen in this poem is extremely unique. The theme of the poem is "Baiyun Song", and the poem firmly grasps the image of Baiyun to express feelings. Baiyun has always been associated with hermits. Tao Hongjing in the Southern Dynasties hid in Ququ Mountain. Xiao Daocheng, the emperor of Gao Qi, asked him, "What are all the things in the mountains?" He wrote a poem and replied, "What's in the mountains? There are many white clouds on the ridge. I can only ask for more happiness, and I am reluctant to give it to you. " Since then, Baiyun has forged an indissoluble bond with hermits. White clouds are free and easy, lofty and refined, white and flawless, which is the best symbol of hermit's character. This poem by Li Bai started directly from the white clouds, without too many words, and brought people into the realm of purity and elegance at once.

In order to give full play to the image and function of Baiyun, this farewell poem no longer tells the story from other aspects, but only chooses Liu's trip to Qin Chu. From the first sentence, "Chushan and Qinshan are all white clouds", the white clouds are inseparable from him, crossing the Hunan River with him and entering Chushan with him until the last sentence, "White clouds can lie down and return early", wishing him to lie high in the white clouds. It can be said that the whole poem begins with white clouds and ends with white clouds. It seems that we only see a white cloud floating. Needless to say, the nobleness of hermits and the nobleness of seclusion. Hu Yinglin said that "poetry is expensive and empty", and he also said that "poetry is the master of Shen Feng" (Poetry). This poem does not directly describe hermits, nor does it describe white clouds in a chanting way, but only regards white clouds as a symbol of seclusion. Therefore, it is a hermit and a white cloud; Is a white cloud, but also a hermit, really reached the realm of emptying the sublime and graceful. Fang Hongjing said, "Baiyun Song has no chanting sentences, and it is a fairy tale. If others like it a little, it belongs to the whole word. " I realized this beauty.

This song is very natural, and there is ingenuity in nature. The first sentence refers to the land, not to Qin and Chu, but to "Chushan" and "Qinshan", which not only corresponds to returning to the mountain, but also has a harmonious atmosphere, which enhances the tone of seclusion; Moreover, the ancients thought that clouds were born when they touched stones, and naturally there were white clouds. Clever choice of words, pun intended Poetry touches the water in Hunan, moving with events, and touching the sentence "female Luo Yi". Qu Yuan's "Nine Songs Shan Gui" said: "If people are mountains, they will be taken by Li Xi." "Woman Luo Yi" refers to Shan Gui. Shan Gui likes people who do good deeds and are good-looking. "He was taken to Du Heng by Shi Lan, and he lost his thoughts." Wang Yi wrote in the Han Dynasty: "A thinker is also a pure man, and Qu Yuan is also." Borrowing this fact here means that Xiangshui will treat the clean people in Xiu De with great kindness, further rendering the loveliness of the secluded place and the return of Angelica sinensis. And those who use Qu Yuan as a metaphor for their return are self-evident. How much emotion is contained in the word "look" in the last sentence! White clouds lie, that is, the city is uninhabitable. With this word "Kan", although the word "Jun returned early" is extremely dull, it also contains infinite firmness. Implicit and profound, plain and sharp.

It is very appropriate for this poem to express unrestrained feelings in the form of songs. In sentence structure, the most important word is used, that is, the word at the beginning of the next sentence repeats the word at the end of the previous sentence, which has the flavor of folk songs, increases the aesthetic feeling and lingering affection of syllables, and makes the content and artistic form harmonious and unified.
