This poem "Historical Records" and "Hanshu" are not collected. In the Tang Dynasty, Zhang Shoujie's "Historical Justice" was quoted from the Spring and Autumn Period of Chu and Han Dynasties and has been passed down to this day. Chu Han Chun Qiu was written by Lu Jia in the early Han Dynasty, but it was still different in the Tang Dynasty. Liu Zhifeng, Sima Zhen and Zhang Shoujie have all seen it with their own eyes, and the number of articles is the same as that in Han Shu Literature and Art Annals. This poem is compiled from this book, and there is no problem with the source of the material. Some people think that the early Han Dynasty is impossible.
It is doubtful that there is such a mature five-character poem, but judging from the Song of Lady Qi recorded in the Biography of the consorts in Han Dynasty and the Song of the Great Wall in Li Daoyuan's Notes on Water Classics and Rivers, there are many folk songs in Qin and Han Dynasties, and they are quite mature. Wang Yinglin in Song Dynasty considered this poem as the earliest five-character poem in China in Volume XII of Historical Records, which shows its important position in the history of China's poetry.
According to Records of Historical Records of Xiang Yu, Xiang Yu was surrounded by Liu Bang and Han Xin's troops, serenaded with no food, and felt very heavy. One night, when he heard the sound of Chu songs all around him, he suddenly lost his voice and asked, "Did Han get Chu?" How many people are there? So he put on his clothes, drank alone, and sang the song Gaixia, which has been passed down through the ages. In an atmosphere of infinite sadness and generosity, Yu Ji wrote and sang this poem.
