Quanzhou Bell Tower is a standard bell tower built in 1934 when the East-West Street Cross Road was built, and it was completed the following year. The bell tower is13.8m high, designed by designers studying in Britain, with European style. Quanzhou Bell Tower, East-West Pagoda and Bridge Pagoda have become the unique scenery of this ancient city, attracting tourists from home and abroad. Now the clock in the bell tower has been replaced by a mechanical clock with a quartz clock, and holiday lights have been installed in the bell tower. The bell tower at night radiates new brilliance and is even more dazzling.
Historic building Quanzhou Bell Tower. There are three bell towers in Quanzhou. The oldest is the West Street Bell Tower built in 1934, which is also the default bell tower in Quanzhou citizens' hearts.
Zhongshan Road
The bell tower is located at the crossroads. Its east-west direction is East Street and West Street, and its north-south direction is Zhongshan South Road and Zhongshan North Road. Quanzhou Nanbei Street was renamed "Zhongshan Road". It was formed in the 1920s and 1930s, and it is the only and best-preserved arcade in China. "There are two towers in the east and two streets in the north and south." The last sentence refers to Zhongshan Road in Quanzhou. Its similar architectural style is full of exotic flavor. It's rainy in the south, so the arcade can shelter from the wind. In view of the hot weather in Quanzhou National Day, the halogen owner simply used it to shade the sun. In order to foil the beauty of the arcade, Lord Lu had to do it himself.
Confucian temple
Go along Zhongshan Road and you will find the Confucius Temple. Quanzhou Confucian Temple was built in the late Kaiyuan period of Tang Dynasty. In the Southern Song Dynasty, it was relocated, rebuilt and restored to its original state. It is an organic combination of Central Plains culture in Song Dynasty and ancient architecture art in southern Fujian. Whether it is the flat land outside the temple, the banyan tree or the temple, it gives people the feeling of empty atmosphere. Compared with the compact Zhongshan Road, the contrast is great. Scarlet color matching is king, and many young couples come here to take wedding photos. There was a temple fair at night, but I didn't come to see it.
Jing Qing Temple
Walking on Tumen Street, you can see a white marble temple, which Lord Lu has been longing for for for a long time. Quanzhou Jing Qing Temple is the earliest Islamic building in China. It doesn't need complicated patterns and colors. Just a few pillars simply stand there, plus a simple dome building, in which thousands of years of history are precipitated.
guandi temple
Jing Qing Temple is the Guandi Temple further down. The owner who vomited gently fled back to rest because it was too hot, and then made a special trip. We can't help sighing that Minnan is fragrant. Worship of the shrine is a natural respect and habit of the local people. Businessmen gather and pilgrims detour. The whole Guandi Temple is foggy. This temple is small, but it is heavy.
China Fujian-Taiwan Relatives Museum
China Fujian-Taiwan Border Museum is a national-level thematic museum reflecting the historical relationship between Chinese mainland (Fujian) and Taiwan. The museum is located at the foot of Qingyuan Mountain in Quanzhou, a famous historical and cultural city, and beside the West Lake. It was officially opened to the outside world in May 2006. The museum covers an area of 154.2 mu, with a main building area of 23,332 square meters. The design concept of "the sky is round and the place is round" is adopted, and the characteristic technology of "building bricks into stones" in traditional buildings in Fujian and Taiwan is used. Red and white nature fully embodies the humanistic spirit and regional characteristics on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
The museum is very big. Although there are only two floors, it is enough. As can be seen from the name, what is introduced here is the historical relationship between Fujian and Taiwan Province Province-Baodao, which mainly shows the folk customs, so what we see is mostly the scene layout. For example, the lantern photo above shows the feeling of Chihiro and Chihiro. There is a tea restaurant on the second floor.
