Introduce a scenic spot that embodies the Buddhist culture and characteristics of China.

After returning from Jiuzhai, I lived in Chengdu in the evening and went to Leshan and Emei Mountain the next morning. It is about150km from Chengdu to Leshan, which is a Ma Pingchuan. There is no steep road in the upper reaches of Minjiang River, and there is no pain of cold and lack of oxygen.

The Minjiang River, which originated from the snow-capped mountains in northern Sichuan, broke through the barrier of high mountains, flowed southward into the Chengdu Plain, came to the foot of Leshan, and joined the rushing Dadu River and Qingyi River. At the intersection of three rivers, there is the largest Buddha statue sitting there, overlooking the wide river and protecting the passing ships.

This Buddha statue was carved in the early years of Kaiyuan in Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty. It is an extremely spectacular work of art, carved on a cliff by the river, with a height of 7 1 m, as high as 20 stories. His ears are nearly 7 meters long, and two people can get into his huge ears. 100 people can sit around his broad instep, but he can't hold such a big Buddha's foot. The giant Buddha has taken protective measures to prohibit tourists from climbing, not to mention cramming temporarily, and there is no chance to touch the Buddha's feet at all.

Leshan is famous for its giant Buddha. "Buddha is a mountain, and the mountain is a Buddha." This giant Buddha, which took 90 years to succeed, is not only huge in size, superb in carving technology, well-proportioned in structure and appropriate in proportion. The head and body of the Buddha also cleverly hide a drainage system to avoid water erosion and reduce weathering. Leshan Giant Buddha is really amazing. Whether you look up at the mountain or at the foot of the mountain, it gives you a shock. The courage and wisdom shown in building this great work of art are admirable and admirable.

On the right of the Giant Buddha is the Jiuqu plank road, and on the left is the Lingyun plank road. Jiuqu plank road was excavated for the construction of the Great Buddha in Tang Dynasty, and the sequence was *** 173. On the cliff of the plank road, you can clearly see the holes when the statue was excavated. Walking out of the plank road exit, I came to the foot of the giant Buddha and looked up at the boundless giant Buddha in the Buddhist gate.

Perhaps this trip to Sichuan has an indissoluble bond with Minjiang River. More than 400 kilometers of rugged Minjiang Road and Dujiangyan's great water conservancy project have outlined the Minjiang River to the fullest, and the confluence of the three rivers at the foot of Leshan Giant Buddha has pushed the Minjiang River to the extreme. I have been with Minjiang for several days, and the upstream of enthusiasm is like a violent man, rude and unruly; Minjiang River, which flows into Chengdu Plain, is as calm as a girl, shy and elegant; Then the Minjiang River at the foot of Leshan is full of mysterious colors. Under the protection of the Buddha, whether it is the shuttle of river sails or the sound of waves on a moonlit night, it has become a beautiful scenery.
