Representative figure of the original body
The main authors of Zhengshi poems are Ruan Ji and Ji Kang. Although they all live in Zhuangzi and like to say clearly, they also pay attention to the contradictions in reality. They criticized Sima's poetry creation, exposed the dark reality, inherited the heritage of Jian 'an literature, and showed the realistic characteristics of the times. However, under the political pressure of the ruling Sima Group, they are in a delicate and dangerous situation, so they often express their dissatisfaction and resistance to reality in a tortuous way, and the sharpness and authenticity of their works are also limited to varying degrees. Ruan Ji, in particular, wrote poems about his feelings in a rather obscure way, which is consistent with his weak political attitude. Ruan Ji's poems about nostalgia have achieved great success in lyrical depth, describing complex inner activities and using metaphors. It is the first personal lyric five-character poem with rich content and large scale in the history of China's poetry. Ji Kang's poems are rigorous and clear-cut, but because of his strong temperament, his poems do not directly show his talent, which is detrimental to his elegance. His masterpiece is Poems of Sorrow and Anger, and he is also quite accomplished in four-character poems.
