Zhang Qiusheng, 1939 was born in Shanghai in August, and was born in Jinghai County, Tianjin. He has been engaged in editing children's newspapers for a long time. He used to be the editor-in-chief of Youth Daily, and now he is a member of Chinese Writers Association, director of Shanghai Writers Association and director of Children's Literature Committee.
1958 began to publish children's songs and poems. He used to be the editor-in-chief of Childhood magazine, and later transferred to Shanghai Juvenile Newspaper as the deputy editor-in-chief and editor-in-chief of the newspaper, and concurrently the editor-in-chief of Fairy Tales.
Published children's poetry collections include Woodpecker Squad, Wild Roses on Campus, Burning, Bonfire, Stories of Three Hu Dagang, Children Who Love Beauty, Fairy Tales Little Monkeys Learn Skills, Careless Adventures, Animals Falling from the Sky, Fairy Tales Little Squirrel and Its Companions, and Little Clapping Hands.
