Top student Lin Yijian had a problem recently. 14-year-old Xiamen used to score more than 110 marks on his math exam (out of 120 possible points). But in the final exam last semester, his math score was only 90 points.
This is a shock (blow). "I didn't know what was going on," said Lin, who had been feeling nervous and frustrated (frustrated) about math for the following month.
I'm like, many of us have setbacks (setbacks) in life. What do you do to deal with these setbacks? Do you just let them and give up?
Lin chose to face his own problems. His parents and teachers also helped him. After some hard work, he now gets a score of 100 to 110 points on his math test. Although he is not yet at his original (original) level, Lin is no longer panicking.
“Don’t be afraid of setbacks,” he said. "You will be defeated (defeated)."
Chen also has a story in Xingzhu, Shenzhen. The 15-year-old girl is good at doing sit-ups (sit-ups), which is necessary for the upcoming high school entrance exam (Physical Education Examination). One person does for one minute, through the test, at least 35 sit-ups. Most of Chen's classmates can do 40. However, Chen can only do 20.
Feeling worried, Chen decided what to do. She sat for more than half an hour every day after school for UPS. Now, a month later, she can do 30 sit-ups for one minute.
"I finally found a way to slow down a little bit and improve a little bit more through continuous (continuous) practice," Chen Yunlin said.
"I believe I can make 40 next month!
