Original text:
Sui, the author of the farewell poem, fell to the ground at Anonymous, and Yang's flowers flew in the sky. Willow branches are broken and flowers are flying. Will pedestrians come back?
Translation:
Yang Liuzhi hangs green on the ground, and Huayang flies all over the sky. The wicker has broken and the flowers have flown. When will the traveler come back?
Thousands of miles away in Huang Yun, the weather was gloomy, and the north wind sent away the geese, which caused heavy snow. Don't worry about having no friends ahead. Who in the world doesn't know you? Just like a bird running around without results, it can only feel sorry for itself. It has been more than ten years since they left Luo Jing. A gentleman is determined to win when he is poor, but he can't afford to pay for drinks when he meets today.

This poem "Farewell" came from the Sui Dynasty, and the author has been unable to verify it, but the reluctant feelings expressed by Liu in the poem have been passed down to this day. It is said that the custom of folding willows to bid farewell began in the Han Dynasty. The ancients gave the willow two meanings: first, the willow grows fast, which means that it can flourish wherever it floats, while the delicate willow symbolizes family ties.
Second, willow is homophonic with "stay", and folding willow means "stay". Today, we can see from the poems that "Liu" is used to express the feeling of parting, which is earlier than this "custom". The wicker has broken and the flowers have flown. When will the traveler come back?
The ancients often folded Yang Liuzhi's watch to bid farewell. There is also a saying that at this time, the apparent farewell poem actually expressed the curse of the demise of the Sui Dynasty, because the emperor's surname was Yang. This is another explanation. The last two sentences say that spring has gone and people haven't come back yet. Folding willows is a farewell; Now that the wicker is broken, it means to see the old things after a long separation and cherish others.
Flying flowers, originally meant spring dusk; Today, all the flowers have flown away, indicating that spring has come back long ago, and pedestrians are not as well informed as spring. The last sentence directly deducts the question and asks the husband if he wants it back; It shows that she is full of anxiety and thirst, so she spews out like volcanic lava. Its bearing and charm are extraordinary.
