An authoritative overview of the basic Christian beliefs. The word creed comes from the Latin credo, which means "I believe". Some ancient creeds often begin with this word, and later it evolved into the title of such scriptures. At first, the format of the creed was not uniform. 1~ in the 2nd century, before being baptized into the church, believers in churches all over the world had to learn and read the short "baptism-confession" and then form a code of faith, or a code of truth. In the 3rd and 4th centuries, it gradually became a creed with a specific format. Apostolic creed, nicene creed and Athanasius creed, among which the most popular schools are called universal creed. In addition, Catholicism, Orthodox Church and other sects also have their own creeds.
