I am from Dalian. Although Dalian is a beautiful city, it is also a young city, and ancient poems are difficult to find. My Chinese teacher gave us a poem, which was thought of by a famous modern poet when he was visiting Binhai Road. Our Chinese teacher’s university tutor got the poem immediately, and I don’t know if it has been published now. Although the theme of this poem is not a description of scenery, it also describes part of the beautiful scenery of the coastal road. Dalian people or foreign tourists who often walk along Binhai Road will definitely have this feeling that the poet wants to express.

The light reached into the darkness of the pine forest in the mountains
