This is a rare dance performance in the Northern Song Dynasty, but quite famous in the streets of Lin 'an in the Southern Song Dynasty. Although the name of this dance team is not specifically listed in the books such as Old Wulin, it is recorded in the book. "Old Wulin Story" Yuan said: "Since Meng Dong's old story drove back to the capital, there have been dozens of girls and dancers, which is the second time to play for a noble family." The so-called "shoulder riding" means that a girl is put on her shoulder by an adult, waving her arms and dancing. As "Dream of Liang Lu Prostitute Music" said, "There are three or five teams of musicians dancing with one or two girls." Wu Wenying, a poet in the Song Dynasty, wrote the word "Jade Louchun", saying: "The velvet raccoon hat covers the eyebrows, and the golden cicada snail cuts the narrow shirt. Look at the waist by shoulder, and smell the drum flute when you are tired. I said that my home is in the east of the city, so I should not hesitate to buy dry gold. When I come back to sleep in spring, I will still dream. "

I wonder if the "velvet beaver hat" and "Hu shirt" described in the poem are the fixed dance costumes of the shoulder dance team, or are they just added to protect the little girl on her shoulders from the cold? But this image is undoubtedly very personal. The poem also describes the music of the dance team during the performance, that is, drums and flutes sing together. It may be because the performance time has been very long, so the children are very sleepy and tired, but because they are standing on the shoulders of "adults", they have to dance with it. The last few lines in the poem, "shooting at an oblique side", roughly explain the special style of the shoulder dance team's performance, that is, on the one hand, it has a strong sense of rhythm, on the other hand, the beauty of its movements focuses on the balance in oblique swimming.
