Reflections after listening to the Qingming Festival speech

Today is Tuesday. In the last class, Tang Xinyi and I went to listen to the "Top Ten Virtuous Boys" speech contest. I had many feelings after listening to it.

The first one among the fifteen candidates to give a speech was Tian Tian from Class 7 (3). As a seventh-grade freshman, it was her first speech, but she was not nervous at all. This rare quality of "newborn calves are not afraid of tigers" is really admirable! I think her speech is in very good condition. She stood on the stage, not nervous at all and very calm. The speech was also very wonderful, and people remembered her immediately. Of course, the big brothers and sisters in the eighth and ninth grades are not to be outdone. What impressed me most were the two female students who gave unscripted speeches. Although I forgot their names, their confident and calm expressions were deeply engraved in my mind and I will never forget them.

Not only were their speeches in good condition, but the content of their speeches was also extremely exciting. The words "Don't seek the best, just seek better" make me miss you to this day. Their virtuous deeds also shocked me to my heart.

The speeches given by these fifteen candidates were truly wonderful. As a middle school student, we should learn from them!

On Tuesday afternoon, Liu Xiaoxue and I participated in the selection event of the "Top Ten Young Men with Virtue". After participating in this event, I felt deeply. Originally, I always thought that I was doing okay, but when I listened to the speeches of those classmates, I realized that I was far from them. Of all the people who spoke on stage, I only remember the senior female student. Her words are very plain, but when she speaks, she puts her heart and soul into it. She used her sincere emotions to explain the meaning of "virtue" to all the students present. This selection event will always inspire me to move forward. I believe that through the speeches of those 15 students, other students will be able to discover virtues, carry forward virtues, and become good young people with all-round development.

I hope that the flowers of virtue can bloom in every corner of the No. 2 Middle School campus!
