Insert picture
1. Start Microsoft Word, and then open the required document.
2. Click the position in the document where you want to insert the picture, and put the insertion point at that position.
Note: The lower left corner of the inserted picture will be positioned at the insertion point.
3. On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click From File.
4. Browse to the folder containing the picture you want to insert, click the picture file, and then click Insert.
5. If necessary, you can click the inserted picture and resize it by dragging the size handle, or rotate it by dragging the rotation handle.
6. Use the tools on the picture toolbar to modify the properties of the picture.
Note: If the Picture toolbar is not displayed, point to Toolbars on the View menu, and then click Pictures.
Modify the picture position and text wrapping
1. Start Microsoft Word, and then open the required document.
2. Click the picture you want to format.
3. On the Format menu, click Picture.
4. In the Format Picture dialog box, click the Layout tab, and then click Advanced.
* set the text wrapping format:
Click the Text Wrap tab. Select the text wrapping style you want, and then click OK.
* set the image location format:
Click the Picture Location tab. Select the desired horizontal and vertical alignment positions, click the check box of the desired option, and then click OK.
5. Click OK to close the Format Picture dialog box.
