Dream-themed English Poetry 1 The Road Not Taken
Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in the yellow forest,
I'm sorry I can't go both.
As a traveler, I stood for a long time.
Look down as much as I can.
It bends in the bushes;
And took the other one, and to be fair,
Maybe there's a better way to put it,
Because it is covered with grass and needs to be worn;
Although, for the passage there
Dressed the same,
That morning, both of them were lying down.
There are no black footprints in the leaves.
Oh, I saved the first one for the next day!
But knowing how the road leads to the road,
I doubt whether I will come back.
I will tell it with a sigh.
Somewhere after year:
Two roads diverged in the Woods, and I
I chose the less traveled one,
This makes everything different.
A road that has not been taken.
Robert? Translated by Frost and Chen Caixia
There are two golden forest roads,
It's a pity that we can't arrive at the same time.
I stood alone for a long time,
Observing one of them in the extreme sun,
Until it was submerged in the bushes.
Then I chose another one fairly,
Maybe there's a better reason,
Because it is deep in the grass and needs someone to walk on it.
Speaking of how many people walked on it.
The wear of the two roads is really similar.
Both roads lay quietly that morning,
None of the leaves covered on it were trampled black,
Oh, I saved the first way for next time!
But I know the road ahead is unpredictable,
I doubt whether I should come back.
A few years later, somewhere,
I will tell it with a sigh:
There are two roads in the Woods, and I?
I chose the one with fewer pedestrians.
So everything has changed.
Dream-themed English Poetry 2 What is success?
Ralph Waldo Emerson
What is success?
Laugh often and love more;
Win the respect of smart people
And children's love;
Win the recognition of honest critics
But also endure the betrayal of false friends;
Appreciate beauty;
Discover the advantages of others;
Dedicate yourself;
To make the world a better place,
Whether it's a healthy child,
A garden,
Or a redeemed social condition;
Play and laugh enthusiastically.
Sing with joy;
Knowing that even a life can breathe more easily,
Because you lived. ...
This is a success.
The connotation of success
Ralph? Waldo. Translated by Emerson and Chen Caixia.
What is success?
Laugh often, love is always there,
Win the respect of the wise,
Children's love;
Win sincere recognition,
Tolerate the betrayal of a bad friend;
Appreciate beautiful things,
Discover the loveliness of others.
Learn to give selflessly,
Add luster to the world:
Either raise healthy children,
Either leave the garden,
Or improve social conditions;
Laugh happily,
Sing joy;
Even knowing that life is easy,
Because you came all this way?
This is the meaning of success.
Dream-themed English Poetry 3 There is always a dream.
Never give up your dream.
Forget those cloudy days,
Forget about your depressed days,
But don't forget your time in the sun.
But don't forget prime time.
Forget the number of times you've been defeated,
Forget your failures again and again,
But don't forget the victory you won.
But don't forget the victory you won.
Forget what happened to you,
Forget what happened to you,
But don't forget when your luck turns.
But don't forget your luck.
Forget your lonely days,
Forget your lonely days,
But don't forget the friendly smile you see.
But don't forget the friendly smile you got.
Forget the plans that don't seem to go well,
Forget about the plan you didn't implement smoothly,
But don't forget to always have a dream.
But don't give up your dream.
