Wang Changling (Wang Jiangning, 698-757), a native of Jinyang in Hedong (now Taiyuan in Shanxi) or Chang 'an in Jingzhao, was a famous frontier poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
In his early years, his family was poor, and he was already a scholar at the age of 30. He first served as secretary of the provincial school, then as a learned scholar and captain of Suishui. Being demoted to Lingnan for something, he returned to Chang 'an at the end of Kaiyuan and was awarded Jiangning Cheng instead. Being slandered by Long Biaowai, Anshi Rebellion. He was killed by Shi Qiuxiao.
His poems are dense and clear-headed, and are as famous as Gao Shi and Wang Zhihuan. He has the reputation of "God's Master" and "God's Poet", and his representative works include Seven Poems of Joining the Army, Embankment and Forever in My Heart.
2. Wang Zhihuan
Wang Zhihuan (688 -742), born in Jinyang (now Taiyuan, Shanxi), was a famous poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
When he was a child, he was smart and weak, good at writing, good at writing poems, and mostly quoted lyrics, especially five-character poems, in order to describe the frontier fortress scenery. His character is bold and unrestrained. He often mourned swordsmanship and sang with Gao Shi and Wang Changling. Representative works include Heron Pavilion and Liangzhou Ci. In the first year of Tianbao (742), the disease was finally officially abolished.
3.wang wei
Wang Wei (70 1 -76 1, 699 -76 1) was born in Zhou Pu, Hedong (now Yuncheng, Shanxi), and his ancestral home was Qixian, Shanxi. The famous poet and painter in Tang Dynasty, together with Meng Haoran, were called "Wang Meng" and "Shi Fo".
In the 19th year of Kaiyuan (73 1), Wang Wei was the first scholar. Li Guan right gleaned, supervised the remonstrance, and made our time in Hexi. Wang Wei studied Buddhism and Taoism and was proficient in poetry, books, paintings and music. He is famous for his poems of Kaiyuan and Tianbao, praising landscapes and pastoral areas.
4. Wang Bo
Wang Bo (650 -676), a native of Longmen, Gujiang (now Hejin, Shanxi), was a writer, a famous poet and the first of the "four outstanding poets in the early Tang Dynasty".
Wang Bo is good at the Five Laws and Five Exquisites, and his main literary achievement is parallel prose. His representative works include "Farewell to Du Fu's Post in Sichuan" and "Preface to Wang Tengting".
5. Wang Ji
Wang Ji (about 590-644) was born in Longmen County, Gujiangfu (Tonghua Town, Wanrong County, Shanxi Province, 1972 was included in Wanrong County from Hejin County), the younger brother of Wang Tong, an educator in Sui Dynasty, and a poet in the early Tang Dynasty.
His poems are not shallow, but good in quality and simple, including Biography of Mr. Wudou, Jiujing and Jiupu. He was also recognized by later generations as the founder of Five-character Rhyme, which reversed the legacy of Qi and Liang Dynasties, made important contributions to the creation of Tang poetry, and also played a very important role in the history of China poetry.
