Bai Juyi's Poems on a Small Stove

Xiao Zao is a piece of advice for my friend Liu written by Bai Juyi in Tang Dynasty. A Suggestion for Friend Liu was written by Bai Juyi when he lived in Luoyang in his later years and missed his friends. Liu Shijiu was a friend of the author when he was in Jiangzhou, and the author wrote a song "Liu Shijiu Sleeps Together", saying that he was Chu Shi of Songyang. Some people think that this poem was written in the 12th year of Yuanhe (AD 8 17), but the poet is Sima of Jiangzhou (now Jiujiang, Jiangxi), so it is impossible to invite Luoyang to drink.

There is a glimmer of green in the old bottle and a hint of red in the quiet stove.

With dusk and snow coming, how about a glass of wine?

Rhyme translation:

The newly brewed rice wine is green and fragrant; A small red mud stove is burning crimson.

It's getting dark and snow is coming. Can I have a cup of hot wine in my humble place?

My newly brewed rice wine has not been filtered, and there is a layer of green bubbles on the surface of the wine, which smells good. A small red mud stove for scalding wine is also ready.
