How Poetry Blends Scenes with Scenes: A 200-word Composition

Look forward to, look forward to, finally it's time for the science and technology activity class! As soon as the bell rang, I rushed out of the classroom with my schoolbag on my back, occupied the nearest teacher and waited for the teacher to attend class.

Sitting in the science and technology museum, I saw three characters of flying machine written on the blackboard. I think I will be a flying machine today. Sure enough, as I expected, Mr. Wang gave each of us a piece of cardboard and four straws and said, "Today, students will use their brains and think about how to do it according to the production steps." I read the production instructions carefully. Wow! How simple! According to the steps, I first cut a strip with a width of 2 cm from the cardboard with scissors, and then cut a rectangle with a length of 24 cm and a width of 12 cm from the middle of the cardboard. Fold the paper strips into rings respectively, and make a paper hole where the paper strips overlap, just enough to put the straw. At this time, the straw comes in handy. One end of the straw is attached to the inside of the big circle in parallel, and the other end is attached to the outside of the small circle in parallel. In this way, a beautiful straw plane is ready!

Looking at the completed plane, I feel itchy, and I really want my plane to fly smoothly. With the teacher's permission, my friends and I rushed to the playground for a test flight. I held my breath, lifted the aircraft and threw it into the distance. Great! The plane taxied forward about 3 meters. When I saw the straw flying like a paper plane, I jumped three feet with joy. Students are also conducting flight tests one after another. Everyone is chirping like a group of happy birds, clamoring for their own aircraft to fly well. In order to make the plane glide further, we enjoyed it and ran to the third floor of the teaching building one by one to launch the plane down! We had a good time, watching the plane slide in the sky, and our hearts were sweeter than eating honey!

Science and technology class is really interesting, which not only makes us use our brains, but also brings us endless fun.

Attachment: Manufacturing Steps of Straw Aircraft

1. Cut two pieces of paper tape, 2 cm wide, 24 cm long, 1.5 cm wide and 18 cm long.

2. Fold the paper strips into circles respectively, and make a paper hole where the paper strips overlap, just to put the straw.

3. Put the straw into the hole and fix it with adhesive tape.

The straw plane can fly like a paper plane.

Scientific principles:

Every link on the straw plane is a circular flying wing. If it is in the center of the dome, it will become an ordinary flat flying wing if it is cut. The reason why the straw aircraft can fly is that the air above the annular flying wing is faster than the air at the bottom, so it can generate upward climbing force.
