Su Shi was a famous poet in the Northern Song Dynasty and one of the eight great poets in the Tang and Song Dynasties. Su Shi has made great achievements in poetry, ci, writing, calligraphy and painting. His poems cover a wide range of topics, including philosophy of life. He changed his previous poems describing the love between men and women and expanded the theme of Song Ci. He left behind many famous poems, such as Water Turning Around, Nian Nujiao Nostalgia at Red Cliff, Hunting in Mizhou of Jiangchengzi, Ten Years of Jiangchengzi's Life and Death, etc.
