In the lotus pond of the lotus garden, more than 20 kinds of lotus flowers and water lilies of various colors are planted. From the lotus garden to the stacked water garden built by the mountain stream, abrupt rocks either divide the water into layers or form a landscape on the grass, and clumps of banana, bamboo and wild flowers form a natural beauty beside the mountain stream.

In order to further improve the ecological environment around Baiyun Mountain, make the mountain greener and the water clearer, when the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government formulated the strategic plan for Guangzhou's development, the overall plan for Baiyun Mountain was "more scenery on the mountain and more gardens under the mountain". One of the plans of "Multi-Park" is to open a leisure belt with green space ecology on the west side of Baiyun Mountain, starting from the west gate of Baiyun Mountain in the north, reaching Xiatang West Road in the south and Yuntai Garden on Guangyuan East Road in the east. It is 8.5 kilometers long and will be built in stages. The first stage was completed at 200 1. Across the road from the new gymnasium, it has become a new landscape in Guangzhou. The leisure belt is mainly composed of five different gardens, namely Lingnan Litchi Garden, Song Lin Shijing Garden, Guanhe Garden, Dieshui Garden and Guoxiang Garden. China is the hometown of lotus. As early as 5000 years ago, two lotus seeds were found in Yangshao cultural site. Three thousand years ago, there was a poem in the Book of Songs "across a lotus". For thousands of years, literati of all ages have formed an indissoluble bond with lotus flowers and wrote many poems that have been praised through the ages. Yang Wanli, a great poet in the Song Dynasty, wrote a poem describing the name of lotus, "The lotus leaves are infinitely bright and the colors of lotus flowers are different." The "sunny corridor" in the garden is taken from the artistic conception of these two sentences. Maybe some tourists will say, can such a small pond be said to be "connected with the sky" or "infinite"? In fact, this gallery is called "Sun Gallery", which only emphasizes the purples of lotus flowers, not the size of the lotus pond! Although the pond in front of us is not as big as the West Lake, "Wan Li is far more than rivers and mountains" is one of the artistic features of China gardens. The center of Yunxi Ecological Park is the theme scenic spot of Yunxi Ecological Park. There is a pond above the bridge, and the two ponds below are natural ponds. The designer built a bridge here, and several ochres were arranged in the pond, with flowers on both sides and green grass. Because there are three natural ponds and three layers of water in this place, the bridge above the three layers of water is called the three-layer bridge. The red bridge body contrasts with the green Baiyun Mountain, presenting a picturesque scene of red bridge, green trees, white clouds and people.
Further on, there is a fruit garden. Guoxiang Garden was formed by replanting some new fruit trees on the basis of the former Institute of Fruit Science. Litchi, mango and carambola are various and can be tasted. The building in front is called meditation platform, which is a place for tourists to rest.
