Appreciation of Ye Saining's Love Poem Ah, Bellflower

[Russia and Soviet Union] Ye Saining

Ah, bellflower! It must be your passion

Send the song-like * * into my soul,

And told me that the sky-blue cornflower

Dear distant eyes.

Stop singing! Stop singing! Have pity on me,

My heart is burning in my chest.

Here she comes, like love that can't stop cutting.

Go find a song that rhymes with her, "Revisiting".

(translated by Bai Fei)

Sergei Ye Saining (1895— 1925) is a brilliant Russian lyric poet. He is the son of a farmer and once worked as a shepherd. He is called "People's Poet". Wearing a farmer's coat with a bright ribbon around her waist. Reciting pastoral poems describing bumper harvests, cows, colorful clouds and grasslands is his true colors. The nature, small huts, quiet villages and clear rivers he saw with the innocent eyes of shepherds were in sharp contrast with the noise and chaos of the city. The former brings him joy, while the latter brings him confusion. In the end, he could not extricate himself from his confusion and died as a poet with a very negative reputation. Gorky said: "This outstanding real poet reflected our times in his own way and enriched the times with his poems." For Ye Saining's death, critic Voronski called him a peasant poet who died because of the trap of the city. However, it didn't take long for Ye Saining to be regarded as a political suspect, and his works were almost forbidden to be reprinted for more than 20 years. After Ye Saining's reputation was restored, his works were read more widely, and every time they were reprinted, one record was often sold out.

The poem "Ah, Bellflower" is the third poem in "Little Flower Collection". Ye Saining wrote Little Flowers to his first wife, Raj. After the divorce, Raj remarried. Although Ye Saining had several lovers and been married several times, his confusion and confusion always made him unable to get rid of loneliness and pain, which made him deeply miss his former lover. The poet expressed this deep affection in Little Flower.

Ah, bluebells enhance the charm of poetry with the hazy effect of literary language. "Ah, bellflower!" It is not only a lyric poem for grass, but also a call for people. The genus Campanula sends a song-like * * into my soul, which is not only the voice of the genus Campanula in the wind, but also the warm words that bring the poet information. The sky-blue cornflower is not only the beautiful scenery in front of us, but also the eyes of distant lovers. Is it flowers or people? Is it a dream or is it true? The hazy artistic conception of the integration of truth and illusion, dream and reality profoundly expresses the poet's endless nostalgia for his first love.

In the last four lines, the poet lamented the bellflower and said, "Stop singing, stop singing! Have pity on me, my heart is already burning. " Monologues are not only for bellflower, but also for people who sympathize with themselves and poets. Based on emotion, it is permeated with Shan Ye's emotion and fully expresses the poet's nostalgia. The last two lines read: "Here she comes, like an endless love to find a' revisit' that rhymes with her." "She came" means when did she come, past, present or future? Is it reality, dream or hope? It's hard to be sure, but we can completely conclude that this is what the poet yearns for and is extremely happy. However, she came. What is she going to do? Is it to express regret and modesty, or to get back together? Is it on the way or on the way? It's hard to be sure. The poet only confessed that "come and find a' review' that rhymes with her", which is purely a stroke of genius in emotional language, and it goes without saying. The meaning is infinite, but the words are plain, which is the obscure meaning of the poem. Understanding and vagueness are the needs of poetic art, not to mention the application of vague language in real life. The poet's yearning for distant lovers has already burned, but the poet only said that it was the grass that lifted his yearning. But the yearning for this burning heart is not written directly, but expressed through hazy illusion, which not only expresses the poet's strong feelings, but also makes the poem tense. Vague language and hazy artistic conception vividly express the poet's nostalgic psychology of constantly cutting, being confused and eager to talk and rest.
