Psalm 21
Inspirational Scripture: O Lord, may you be exalted in your power. In this way, we sing praises of your power. (Psalm 21:13)
God is worthy of our praise. This psalm is divided into two parts. The first part is God’s blessing and grace given to David, and the second part is God’s victory over evil and his enemies. Both parts are filled with David's thanksgiving and praise to God, but David does not take these glories to himself. I learned from this that we should always count God’s grace, give praise and praise to the Lord, and give God the glory he deserves.
Revelation Chapter 15
Touching Scripture: I saw what looked like a sea of ??glass, mingled with fire. And he saw those who had overcome the beast, his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of ??glass, holding harps of God, singing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: O Lord God Almighty, your What a great act! How strange! King of all ages (or translated: kingdoms), your way is righteous! Sincere! Lord, who dares not to fear you and give glory to your name? Because you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed. After that, I saw the temple in heaven where the ark of the testimony was kept opened. (Revelation 15:2-5 Union Version)
God is the Almighty, the King of all ages, righteous and faithful, awesome, and worthy of glory and praise. Before the seven plagues came, there was another scene where the saints in heaven were praising the Lord with one heart. They were praising the righteous judgments that God was about to pronounce.
Just think about it, do we have such a vision to see God’s righteous judgment from the environment around us, or do we earnestly hope that when Christ returns, he will lead a completely righteous judgment, and praise our God for it?
