An unavoidable word in life and death

The word "death" is taboo in China. But from birth, people are "dead ends". The ultimate of life is death. I don't know how many great heroes there are since ancient times, but they are just a handful of loess after death. So death is not taboo, you don't have to go through it.

I once watched a Hong Kong TV program about death education. The target of education is the elderly and teenagers. When people live to a certain age, what is their mood for death? Afraid? Anxiety? Or are you really calm? When interviewed, most elderly people replied: "Don't be afraid, die, everyone will die." You know, the old people who can be interviewed are generally really calm. Some institutions in Hong Kong educate the elderly about death mainly by choosing funeral forms and visiting cemeteries. Old people can think about their own affairs before they die, especially after they leave, and they can choose a photo for future generations to remember.

As for the death education of teenagers, it is more interesting. Teenagers were taken to a room full of coffins. After writing the suicide note, they slept in the coffin, and the staff closed the coffin for the second time-probably leaving a gap for them to breathe, and the time was not long. A young man shared his feelings and said, "The experience of death moved me very much, especially when writing a suicide note. Is there any glory in recalling my' life'? The moment the coffin lid closes, if this is true, my life will be over. " The experience of death makes teenagers realize the silence of death. If they don't work hard in the world, even their own suicide notes-not suicide notes and epitaphs-will be blank. So the experience of death brings positive significance.

People can't choose their own life, life and death, which is really helpless. You never know what will happen tomorrow. I have witnessed several fatal car accidents, a car and a person lying in a pool of blood. Life and death changed at that moment. Those scattered vegetables and fruits will be put on plates for family members to enjoy; The documents in the briefcase are related to millions of businesses; The broken body is the economic pillar of the family ... or the change of life and death is not deeply painful for the deceased, but the most sad thing is their family and friends.

As people grow up, more and more people leave around them. My grandfather, grandfather and grandmother all died at an advanced age; My aunt left at the age of 50, and two relatively sparse relatives died in their forties. My peers, one of my junior high school classmates and the son of a former leader all died of leukemia at the age of 28. Death has no age.

The New Saints Cemetery in Moscow, Russia, is not so much a cemetery as a sculpture park. This cemetery was originally designed for Princess Sophia, the sister of Peter the Great. By the19th century, it had become the "personal tailor" cemetery for Russian celebrities from all walks of life. Celebrities will find their favorite sculptors before their death and carve a work that best reflects their historical value, and this work will stand in their final resting place. It took me at least two hours to visit this cemetery in those days. As a foreigner, I feel less nostalgic and more appreciative. The image of the deceased has a very personalized expression. You can almost guess the main style or achievement of his life by looking at his grave. Of course, this is a celebrity cemetery, and even Russian citizens can hardly enjoy such treatment.

Back to reality, look at the ancestral tablets in our civilian cemeteries or temples. The photos above are all rigid black and white ID photos. Everyone's eyes were open and expressionless, so the whole atmosphere was filled with darkness, seriousness and sadness. Actually, it's not necessary. The photos can be taken beautifully. I believe that from our generation, photos will be very personalized.
