The geographical distribution of China writers in past dynasties is divided into the following 12 regions;

1, Zou Lu: It is a famous gathering place of humanities, the birthplace of Confucianism in the pre-Qin period, and the main gathering area of pre-Qin writers, including great writers such as Confucius, Mencius, Mo Zhai and Zuo Qiuming. Moreover, Zou Lu laid the simple style of China literature, which was well reflected in the Book of Songs and other literary works.

2. Jingchu: The pre-Qin period was the birthplace of Lao Zi, Zhuang Zhou, Qu Yuan, Song Yu, Le Tang and Jing Lei. It was the center of Ci and Fu at the end of the Warring States Period. Later, Meng Haoran and Zhang Ji of the Tang Dynasty also came from Jingchu. Jingchu is the key area for the formation of romantic style in China literature.

3. Huainan: In addition to Chang 'an, the main prosperous place of Han Fu, represented by Liu An, the king of Huainan in Han Dynasty, and the surrounding scribes.

4. Chang 'an: During the Western Han Dynasty, the literature of the imperial capital Chang 'an was extremely prosperous, including Sima Xiangru, Gao Mei, Dong Fangshuo, Zhu Maichen, Yan Zhu, Zhu, Ni Kuan, Kong Zang, Dong Zhongshu, Sima Qian, Wang Bo, Liu Xiang and Yang Xiong.

5. Yedu: the gathering place of literati in the Jian 'an period at the end of Han Dynasty. Besides Sancao, there are Chen Lin, RoyceWong, Xu Wo, Ruan Yu, Angelababy and Liu Zhen. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as the economic center moved south, there were more writers. In a word, Nanjing, with a cultural context of 1800 years, is a famous literary capital.

7. Henan: Although Chang 'an was the capital of the Tang Dynasty with great poetry prosperity, most writers were in Henan, which is a very distinctive feature. Henan writers in Tang Dynasty included Du Fu, Han Yu, Shen Quan, Song, Wang Wan, Cui Hao, Cen Can, Jie Yuan, Han Yi, Wang Jian, Li He, Li Shangyin and Nie.

8. Jiangxi: After the Song Dynasty, the style of writing came from the south, and the style of writing in Jiangxi was particularly prosperous. Yan Shu, Yan, Ouyang Xiu, Wang Anshi, Ceng Gong, Huang Tingjian, Yang Wanli, Liu Guo, Jiang Kui, Wen Tianxiang, etc. all came from Jiangxi, and a famous Jiangxi poetry school was formed in the Song Dynasty.
