Prose Poetry in Grade Five: A New Face of the Countryside

Thirty years of reform and opening up,

The countryside has taken on a new look.

Listen to me, look at me,

Look at the new look of the countryside.

In the streets, in the alleys,

People come and go. It's too noisy.

Bicycles, motorcycles,

Electric cars come to cars.

And, and,

There are countless kinds of cars.

Rice bent down with laughter,

Eggplant put on purple cheongsam.

The corn cracked its mouth,

Onions have been growing.

Residential buildings, supply and marketing cooperatives,

Have turned into brick houses,

It is no longer a dangerous building.

From a distance, look carefully,

The fragments became like that,

Green ocean.

Keywords poplar, weeping willow,

Pine trees that don't lose their leaves in winter.

Dandelion, Rosa multiflora,

And, and,

Matches growing on the mountain.

Old cow,

Work hard to cultivate the land;

Katie,

Catch mice for people every night;

Puppy,

Watch the house day and night.

Thirty years of reform and opening up,

The countryside has taken on a new look.

Listen to me, look at me,

Look at the new look of the countryside!
