Activity design background
In my spare time, I found that the children in our class were particularly sensitive to the rhythm of music. It happened that snowflakes were falling outside, so I designed this activity "Happy" Little Snowflake"
Activity goals
1. Develop children's ability to act correctly according to instructions, as well as their ability to flexibly control their bodies and dodge during fast jogging,
2. Stimulate children’s love for snowflakes
Key points and difficulties in teaching
Key points: Act correctly according to instructions
Difficulties: Flexible control of the body during fast jogging
Activity preparation: small snowflake headdress, music tape (section A is soothing, section B is cheerful, section C is soothing), tape recorder, plastic ring, can, chalk, story tape
Activity process
1. Use body movements to express the scene of flying snowflakes. The teacher asked the children to wear headdresses and dress up as little snowflakes in winter. Guide the children to try to use body movements to express the scene of small snowflakes fluttering and flying in the air. The teacher encourages and affirms the children's active and bold expression and imagination.
2. The game "Snowflakes Flying". The teacher brings the children to the activity venue prepared in advance and tells the children what the various materials on the venue represent: the curve drawn with chalk represents the "small river", the place where the plastic circle is placed represents the "small hill", and the erected The can means "grove". Then the teacher teaches the children to read a short children's song and explains the process and requirements of the game activities. ("Little Snowflakes" listen to the teacher's instructions and fly freely to the music and fall in the woods, hills, and rivers)
3. After the children are familiar with the game, the teacher reduces the body movements and uses language to guide the children.
4. Children listen to the story (the children rest on the carpet and listen to the story). At the end of the story, leave a task and ask the children to help give a red cotton coat to the little animal.
5. Children return to the classroom and color their cotton-padded clothes
6. End of activity
Reflection on teaching
1. During the activity , integrating music and art into healthy activities, enriching the content of the activities, allowing children to experience the joy of "little snowflakes" while playing, and exercising their ability to actively dodge and control their bodies.
2. The activities combine dynamic and static activities. During the game, I let the children rest and listen to stories, combining work and rest, so that the children do not feel tired.
3. If I were to do it all over again, I would change two things. First, I would use colorful headgear instead of pure white. Secondly, I would leave a task after listening to the story. The limitation is to allow young children to paint a variety of colors without limiting them to red.
