In 2000, at the turn of the century, in order to discover, cultivate and reward new literary talents, constantly expand the literary creation team in our province, prosper Qinghai's literary creation, and promote the construction of two civilizations, Qinghai Writers Association established the biennial Qinghai Youth Literature Award with the approval of the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, which has been successfully held for three times, and was reported in time by domestic and foreign newspapers and networks.
In order to strengthen the leadership of the selection work, the Provincial Writers Association set up a leading group for Qinghai Youth Literature Award, with the deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee and the chairman of the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles as the leader and the chairman of the Provincial Writers Association as the deputy leader. In order to ensure the seriousness and fairness of the award work, the Qinghai Youth Literature Award Evaluation Committee is composed of well-known senior writers, critics and related persons from various cultural systems, and with reference to the award methods in some areas inside and outside the province, the Qinghai Youth Literature Award Evaluation Regulations is formulated, with a total of 20 articles, including general rules, organizations, scope and objects, award standards, award procedures and methods, and award discipline.

Special attention should be paid to the excellent works that reflect the real life, especially the construction of two civilizations in our province and the spiritual outlook of people of all ethnic groups in the upsurge of western development.
2, reward method and scope
The Provincial Writers' Association invited senior writers, critics and literary professionals from our province to form a jury for the selection activities.
Where are the young people of all ethnic groups under the age of 40 in Qinghai Lake Literature Monthly and Qinghai Daily? Novels, essays, reportage, poems and critical works (including works published in national languages) published by Jiangheyuan Supplement and other newspapers at or above the provincial level can participate in the awards.
3. Incentive Settings and Timetable
Qinghai Youth Literature Award is selected every two years, and several awards are set according to the number of entries each time. All entries, regardless of genre, category and location, ensure the quality. In the name of the provincial writers association, certificates and bonuses will be awarded to the winners.
